went and picked up some good old fashion organic fish emulsions today. gonna start adding that to the water tomorrow. specs are 5-1-1 which is to be expected so no suprise there.

day 8. plant is looking really good in my opinion. foliage is starting to darken a little so that puts a smile on my face. alot of green matter has come out over the past 24 hours.

wish me luck. and as always:

added the fish emulsions this morning. 1 teaspoon per quart of water. pretty basic.

As you can see in pic 1, the foliage is doing great.
I was told the seeds were kush from the person I got them from and now that i see what look like indica based leaves, im believing it. :] its just a shame the other seeds didnt sprout. o well. i still got about 8 fat seeds left.

pic 2 shows great coverage and as you can see the mutant leaf isnt doing too good. its still managing to bitch it but i didnt expect it to be talking shit so early on. o well. plan on removing it when the 5 point leaves are fully out.

pic 3 is another great shot of it. but as you can see in it also, the mutant leaf isnt doing too good.

who thinks i should just remove it now??

cant wait to see how much the fish emulsions kick in within the next few days.

any advice on this grow is welcome. please and thanks.

Below are the pics of Juanita(wishful thinking).

As you can see, node spacing is very nice and the fish emulsions seem to been do exactly what they should be.

I plan on topping my plant in a week and a half.

any advice on topping or ANYTHING ELSE is GREATLY welcome. please and thanks to you all.:mrgreen:

My $.02 is to keep the leaf... it's still green and although it looks weird it's still providing needed energy to the rest of the plant.

Other then that they look good....

over the past 24 hours some bad shit has happened to my plant and i need some help as soon as anyone can.

first a leaf grew a bunch overnight and today i noticed it pushing against the inside of the pot. the tip is now badly damaged(pic1) and i need to know what to do about it.

second, the leaves are starting to get a droop and a wierd curvy wave to them. you can see this is pic 1 and pic 2 and i need to know what the cause of that is asap. so anyone with any help to offer, it would be greatly appreciated.

thanks.

It might be a ittle over/underwatered. When you water let the soil almost dry out, then flood them with lots of water then let it dry out again. they like a good wet dry cycle

yea thanks matt. youre right. i talked to a friend and he said the same thing and the soil was pretty dry and after a nice watering the plant looked oh so much happier and HEALTHIER. so thanks alot for the tip. :] means alot.

today my plant is looking amazing. i was away over the past 24 hours and came house to a beautiful baby. PIC 1 shows the beautiful growth since my last update.

had to clip the 3 pointed leaves.

one had been badly damaged against the inside of the pot and the other decided it wanted to meet the same fate. so theyre gone. but right above them is amazing new growth as you can see in pic 2. it was just little tiny foliage before, and nows its amazingly grown.

i wanna top my baby in two more nodes. does this sound like a good plan?

and i need to know the BEST way to top. so ANYONE with advice please feel free to post whatever advice you can give. haha. no advice shall be turned away. seriously.

wish me lots of luck for the rest of my grow!

Cool Bignate, I had a similar start to my grow with only one successful plant which I named also  with wishful thinking that she is a she. I'm into my second day of flowering and have x5, 9 day old clones. Good luck with your growbongsmilie .

Well what are you going to do with the top? If you top it at 6 nodes down to three you can then clone the top piece.

Easy.

haha that is an excellent idea. i was thinking of clones but ive been too stoned to realize that i could just use the top as a clone. thanks for that advice. i plan on doing that. a couple more nodes and im going to top.

thanks for the tip.

and always,

SMOKE ON!!

Now if he were to top off the plant and use it as a clone, there is still no knowing if it is a male or a female, right?

right. but i plan on topping either way, so why not just chance it instead of tossing out the top. ya know?

atleast that way if fate is fortunate, ill have two females.

bahhh

YES

alright. well today my plant is looking amazing. im loving what im seeing. :]

still plan on topping in a couple more nodes, and have now decided to use the top as a clone as a just-in-case in the event that my plants a female.

you can see all the new, nice growth in pic 1.

pic 2 is showing the inner growth. going good and right on time. :]

and pic 3 shows a pinkish tone in the stems. i am soooo hoping this is genetics and my buds will one day be pink and/or purple.

any further advice is welcome. aight. thanks yo.

The discolouration may be a sign that your plants need more nitrogen, or it could also be that the temp' at night is too cold.

Even in so-called purple strains, often the grower needs to incorporate colder conditions for this to take effect. It is easier with the purple strains, but you could do it with any strain.

you might want to look into the non-green color for the stems... sure it looks cool.. but it might be a sign of an issue. Are you using any nutes when you water?
