This should settle two points. Are Riot expensive packs worth/exotic enough to be justified, and is the owner a dick that should be avoided for moral reasons or something like that? Barely met dude online asking questions about my order on his site he couldn't have been nicer.....offered to help me with any questions about strains in the future even if I wasn't buying from him. I didn't ask him for shit. We talked about the old juicy fruit strain. Out of nowhere he gave me so much free stuff I'm honestly reaching out to him a second time to ask his permission to put out publicly what all he sent me. Once again I didn't ask him for anything I'm never on these sites. I honestly looked him up on the forums through google in direct response to how generous he was with his time and product and WOW!! hate hate hate people talking mad shit about this dude. I'm popping Cherry Berry x5 Bubbleberry V2 x5 and Banana Thai x5 soaking on the 10th paper towel 11th soil 16th then same thing 5 of each soaking on 20th paper towel next new moon/ summer solstice. 21-22 soil: 27th. I used to run Cherry AK in NorCal is why I was gonna give Cherry Berry a go. I thought Bubbleberry might help me with my search for a clear headed indica for pain and insomnia. He treated me like I was important so I'm going to do my first offical grow journal online on this gear.

Reason a lot of people hate on him is he is a Button pusher likes to push a lot of other breeders buttons being a fellow (Button Pushing/Asshole)
I just laugh anyways his prices where absurd before almost any pollen chucker / breeder prices for a 10 pack cost that with no real Great strains to speak of when was the last time he was even relevant breeding wise not calling out fake cuts or whatever ?
He has friends in high places access to elite cuts and the knowledge but that will not make you a great breeder i just haven't seen anything close to Fire come from his camp in years just my 2 cents.
The gear will have to speak for its self. All I can do is give a real time honest report on an private small organic legal grow. Hopefully I am a good example of a typical hobby legal grower who is organic and competent but with limited resources and absolutely no angle in the industry. Harvested first time in 98. Worked outdoor, light dep, and warehouse in the "ridge" area grassvalley/ Nevada City off and on over the years. Very private until now. Not on social media until now. No agenda here. I'm just hobby pollen chucking and selecting lines for effect and terps. Hope to help Vets with PTSD, Pain, Insomnia. I have no personal knowledge of any of the history surrounding his company. I am a Vet and this dude went way out of his way for me. I will be gifting the prodigy of any of my crosses that come from his generosity to Vets or anyone else in medical need. Matt's kindness will be responsible for that. I wouldn't know the first thing about auctioning off gifts online.

I bought legend of the sour for a price im too embarrassed to share. Total snooze pack waste of 4 months.
I totally hear you Loop 718 and honestly that is what I think the ultimate goal of this thread is to find out if the gear is worth it. Although his prices have dropped it seems with this last Blue Bonnet crosses even the Mac cross was only 160$ as far as uber hot uber hyped cross prices go I seen worse deals. I will not hold back or doctor any photos. What comes comes.... as far as examples go that 550 banana thai will tell the tale. I'm even watching his germination tutorial for good measure. I'm not above learning anything new while waiting for the moon to get right.

Ran my pack of Bubbleberry V2. All germed, couple runts, even spread of boys and girls. I have ran a bunch of bubblegum strains TH Seeds, Bog, Female seeds etc and never really found anything special and its the same here. Plants are ok but nothing special.
I have made f2s so will try a bigger hunt for the bubblegum terps on sometjing that yields a bit better down the track
This is the most bubblegummy terps plant at day 45. Does indeed smell like bubblegum which is good but small yields:
This one has the berry terps and is ok too but in a multistrain tray it is run of the mill even compared to other blueberry crosses. Not the best not the worst. Still 3 weeks or so to go so am interested to see if any colours come in.

noted. Have you tasted or smelled anything dry yet or is this the current status of the Bubbleberry? do you have any tips for flavor nute wise? I'm constantly mixing gypsum into my recycled soil. mushroom compost in the mix with touch of molasses in the water and I keeps my bitches dry for flavor .....Never tried "bud candy" or any other hydro type product or the flush flavor stuff... do they give any results? anyone? just asking, may be they work in bringing out terps and essential oils the plant naturally produces and I don't know what I'm missing. Im fixing to pop a few of the bubble berry i was hoping for very distinct bubble crunchy deep dark candy flavor to have in my night time terp arsenal. bubble gum blueberry muffins sounds spot on. Floral benality would be disappointing. Not the biggest fan of Floral/soapy/metalic blue strains personally. thank you for taking the time to report kix. Please let me know if the distinct 90's bubble gum flavor is pronounced in that pheno you showed at day 45 after dry cure is done. yield is of no concern for me on this if that trait can be selected. props on the f2! thats how I roll too. F2 where the hunt for the female gets interesting. please if possible include detail on pain and sleep impact amoung its traits on the smoke report if you have the time brother. Big props to Kix for helping the thread.

This is the first run with them and they are from seed so I will run a few clones of each of them next as well.
Not too sure about those flush products, I just use salts then a short plain water flush at the end.
I agree on the F2s, really I am hoping to find a bubblegum plant out of these so thats what I am hunting. I will let you know how the smoke report goes and try to remember to get a couple of harvest shots
ok so may be my eyes were a bit bigger than my stomach for popping off all those multiple strains at once. Obviously my priority is the Banana Thai if for no other reason than the age of the beans. Also I have been working very hard on my own cross / breeding project, couple that with the inevitable organic pest flair up I'm in the process of putting down I decided to concentrate on just popping 5 BTs off buy soaking them in water tonight along with 6 seeds of my own-- "Falcore" strain: Banner 1.0 x Ghost of Lee Roy f3 pheno #2( X ) Crocket family farm's (Strawberry Banana) x (Sour Chem)
These are my two main priorities I'm going to work on for this moon phase while my neem oil and predator pirate bugs do their dirty work. Plus I'm going to strive to have near perfect environmental conditions and flawless labeling for this my first online grow journal. so less will indeed be more in this case. I look to pop 5 cherry berry and Bubbleberry V2 seeds in a couple weeks on the new moon. Please feel free to give me any tips on any topic mentioned including integrated organic pest management as well as the finer points on strain notation and vernacular. Thanks to all those interested.

"Falcore" F1 = Just dried the first ever seeds. "Unicorn Fart" #4 x "Sour Strawberry" goal : to beef up the pathetic bud structure and inter-node stretch of the "Unicorn Fart" and to increase the smell and power of the very "strawberry banana" dom Sour Strawberry cross. Both have epic frost ......fucking epic. I was a little disappointed in the volume of the terps from the S.S. Tasted and smelled just like strawberry banana which I liked and girls seem to love, but little to no funk on the ass end. The Unicorn Fart will fix that. it is basically strawberry diesel O.G. threeway cross. Got its name for a reason. Smells like a dead horse with strawnerry jam dumped on the body.
Sour Strawberry" (Crocket) = Strawberry (serious bubblegum cut) x Banana (Orgkid) X Sourdiesel (AJ) x Chem (? no info or source for chem pollen known)

Been trying to match the stinky dead horse jelly pheno in males I selected with the 1 and 2 while pushing my #4 with f1 and f2 dads that match its leaf pattern and pronounced artificial strawberry pop-fart terp trait. Very small project. Only done f3 in about 4 years but I test the moms on Vets with PTSD and insomnia. I hope to harness the reputed anti anxiety properties of Riot Seeds 'Banana Thai" to push the #4 pheno more towards a helpful daytime medication with the cross. meanwhile I plan to f2 the fuck out of the Banana Thai and chase the anti anxiety juicy fruit gum pheno

I have a few pics of the gifted F1 (Juicy Fruit Highland Thai) X (Banana OG bx1) cross from Riot seeds. These were popped on new moon then pic taken just after following moon's waning gibbous began. Two best distinct phenos after being FIM topped and #1 top third bent over for training. Note pheno #2 stands at same height as trained #1 both topped. #2 has much larger classic Thai leaf stricture while #1 shows the infamouse thai stretch with banana OG leaf structure. Sorry for delay. More details to come, but I must say again thanks to Matt and family! All possible because Matt randomly gifted these out of stock 550$ retail beans to a total stranger with no reputation or previous online activity. I don't know about anyone else's business with him that's not my own, but dude is fucking cool as hell in my book period and really knows his shit. He doesn't even push his own gear when we chat he tells me about other breeders I should try. That's all I got from my vantage point. Bottom line for me is I'm going to f2 this line and select for an original terp profile hoping to find that old school psychedelic creative sativa rush that is perfect to use for afternoon creative endeavors. The seeds were the hardest thing I ever had to germ. I don't know if it was because of Mercury's retro-grade or my mother's drinking habbit while pregnant but everything that could have gone wrong did on top of the beans being dry and out of date. Soaked them for 48hrs in peroxide water with no sign of cracking. Hand cracked with scissors. germinated slow af and some could not shake their shells while other strains I pooped on same new moon were standing tall a week later throwing leaves I wrapped elecrical taper around scissors and needle and finally freed them. In future seeds like those will receive a swipe across their seem with dull butter knife prior to soak. Then I had an air and pest issue I wont even bother bitching about. Now I am left to water my 5 of 10 babbies with my tears of shame. The f2 search will help heal my wounded pride I hope, but it begs the question is it worth it to someone paying a half G for 10 seeds if something does go wrong with the grow. In my humble opinion anyone who would spend 550$ on 10 seeds has more than a casual interest in Cannabis genetics would probably rate the investment on the finds in the f2 selection not literally bean count and base the decision on short term F1 female plant return. Just my opinion though. I want to be clear that I am 1000% real about my report so that is why I share the embarrassing 5/10 result on germination. got 10/10 on my Falcore strain : Banner 1.0 x Ghost of Lee Roy f3 pheno #2( X ) Crocket family farm's (Strawberry Banana) x (Sour Chem ) 5/5 on Riot's "cherry berry", 3/3 on "Bubbleberry V2".
