Unless they don't deliver what the customer paid for I don't think they're cons

I do have an issue with their business practices and hope it's a trend that doesn't continue. Realistically, seeds don't cost much to produce and you're paying for the breeders time. I get it. I think their price is really steep though.

It's not exactly a con though as companies like Apple and Samsung have been doing the same thing with their products. You hype up the product and Jack up the price so it must be better than the cheaper stuff right?

I hear hate about him but I've never actually read someone grew the gear except Kona G.

If you can sift thru the hate, you'll still probably never find a grow report cause everyone is just told not to go to him.

Kona' s RKS is the only riot gear review imo

Theirs so many good companies out there be it breeders or seedbanks. I've been lucky enough to not have been screwed over once. JBC, Joti, True North, JahSeeds, Hemp Depot. I'll vouch for any of these companies (though I've heard mixed reviews about true north).

Hopefully OP and Kona have good luck with Riot.

Kind of cant blame them though can we? When i do research before i get some beans ive got to make a choice whether i think its going to be a safe buy or not. For his prices its not worth the risk. All the bad feedback on the internet and how he treats people that aren't superfans makes it a risky purchase. He definitely doesn't sound like a guy you can talk with about problems you had with his gear.

If you watch him as a man and how he conducts himself (even w/the limited YouTube ) all of the information is available to formulate your own opinions.

Personally with the research I’ve done I wouldn’t invest in his brand .

Not Tbagging just to Tbag (got toke n talk for that) just not my kind of energy .

I just listened to a 3 hour pod cast with him. He seems very knowledgeable, almost to the point where I think what he doesn't know he may just make up on the fly. I will agree with the previous poster he has a lot of negative stuff to say about certain people. I would rather listen to Duke Diamond podcasts, such a cool laid back dude, and if he dont know something, he simply says I dont know.

But I am very happy with the results I got, and there are better phenos out there!

He works with many of the best breeders, so maybe they know something?
Anyways, many assholes out there in all business, so I don't let my personal feelings get in the way of business.

Seems like most people hate Matt Riot for his personality and prices!
Not his gear per say.
As I haven't seen negative posts that have grown his gear, know someone that grew his beans, or post pictures of their bad grows.
Just a bunch of hate or who he is.....kind of like those that hate Trump probably hate Matt Riot.

Both have pretty good reasons. Matt Riot is as bad as it gets, if you choose to support someone like that, well, I would lose a shit ton of respect... Plenty of great genetics out there to not have to support people who are terrible people.

So why do you think he is as bad as it gets??
Also, if what you are saying is true than none should buy seeds from Dr Greenthumbs, Archive, Top Dawg,...... Because they are very similar in personality!
So do you not support or have bought seeds from these breeders?
