soo i was looking at matching the spectrum of the sun in a single grow room, and i think ive come as close as i can within a 500$ per fixture budget. this is one of my drawings but the latest so far and im thinking im getting close. some specifications on exhaust fans, dehumidifier humidifiers ac units and all that would be much appreciated, as well as light manufactures besides maybe the leds unless you know of one with a spectrum thats similar for a similar price
going with 3000k cmh 4000k cmh 1000w hortilux hps and a 720 bava alibaba quantum board with a uv addition the atmosphere i honestly have no idea what im gonna do there considering im running different lights and different lights like different heats.any help would be much appreciatedfucking lights.pnggrow.png

maybe i shouldnt use the 3k bulbs?
Hey bro have you bought the lights yet cause thats pricy pricy and I would think it would create a lot of heat check out the spider farmer sf 2000 or the sf 1000 if this is going to be a grow box

as far as exaust i would check out AC infinity products very set and forget 4 in or 6 inch
a dehumidifier homelabs 4500
if you need to dehu the entire room
and as far as a ac goes use the house ac or maybe get a window ac those are the cheaper options but a more expensive better option would be a mini split ac sytem but thats like 2k

i havent got the lights yet but if you look at the uv spike on the bava specific board thats the main reason ive went with that option, i have bought a 480w so far and am testing it out but it definitely has some nice qualities so far, i am open to other leds but i would require the uv and ya i was thinking just one of the wall ac units with the built in dehu and a couple 8 inch exhaust fans and some intakes

and ya the sfs are cheap as fuck atm i might get some for other things and lighting dead zones

gotcha well from what I've read and some studies UV isn't super important untill flower and even then only helps alittle in resin prodution so i guess unless you really really want to squeeze every bit out of your plants go for it cheaper option might just be to buy the 450 nm UV led strips and mount them on the side and yea i jumped on them when they were only 250$$$ works great so much better the the burpul lights

From what I hear the uv led diodes used on that are very inefficient. Most Uv leds are not as efficient As other color range leds. but decent Made ones can help. Rapid led has some add ones for more time control.
Others may say different.

huh didn't know that although I guess it has to do with the efficacy like any other LED

Most great led lights have small amount of uv that give off. I have a black dog led. Had plenty of “uv” leds. Dont get any pricier then black dog 629$ for 200 w light!!!!! Grow plants the same lol

ill have to check this out some more
This guy...... Im going to run every god damn type of light ever invented. :wall:

im just thinking if im buying new fixtures anyway how could it hurt to cover all spectrum? ive heard of some awesome stuff happening with cmh/led combos, but everyone complains of the lack of yield from the hps, if you rotate the plants position on a day to day timer in the room i feel like it would be like idk a pet who was happier because it didnt eat the same dry food every day, got a break from heat intensity certain days to bask in cooler lights then moved to the more exponential growth the following day, all while getting a glimpse of those spectrum. im just trying to grow the best quality weed possible and do it without sacrificing yield. i havent even mentioned the buddy led side/inner lighting yet o_O

i get atmosphere is just as important so again id like to figure out if this goal is even attainable

Yeah i get your idea. Grams/watt coming off double ended hps is still close to the very best of leds.

IMO I think they add”uv” diodes, like putting a turd in bread. Now it’s a sandwich.
i was hoping the oslon osram were still good quality in the uv department, ive heard good things about the diodes but i will be further researching other lights with more powerful uv, as my main goal is terpines

i want that, with the best damn lemon flavor you have ever tasted and the crystals to match. would be willing to sacrifice a little yield for significant gain in other areas

basically long story short i had this lemon skunk this chick with a beard grew about 10 years ago. and i have never to this day had any bud that came close in flavor, now i understand im going to be searching for that pheno for a long time but if i can amplify every pheno i find to its max potential, i feel the goal will be easier to attain. (i loved her beard btw no judgement)

I get that. But who says the spectrum of the sun is what gives you that? And no matter how closely you match sunlight's spectrum, its not the same.
