You guys want moderation that isn’t moderation

Both sides of the fence want someone to moderate the “bad” side and delete the seemed “bad “ posts

Example
1 side doesn’t like a certain light company so anyone who likes that light company is deemed bad and therefore their posts must be deleted because they are considered “wrong”

That is not what moderation is or what rollitup does
Your opinion on lights is irrelavent to moderation because someone liking a company you don’t isn’t against the rules
Nor will it ever be


Riu is a forum both sides are allowed to make their opinions within the rules
The rules being the terms of service
Things like excessive arguing back and forth with name calling
Threats of violence etc
Actual spam

Are just SOME of the reasons posts go against terms of service that will have post deletion

The fact that one group of people dislike or have different feelings towards another company isn’t against the rules and it doesn’t meant the mod staff are ignorant on leds because knowing led companies isn’t what we mod we mod the rules

I agree that moderation is not always done but what can I say there are very few of us and plenty of you and the led isn’t the only forum on the website
We do our best we’re human we sleep

But just because something you want deleted isn’t doesn’t mean there isn’t any mods
It just means it’s not against the rules

We’re not changing the main terms of service to be what you want sorry
But I hope this clears up any confusion

And every section on Riu thinks they are the magic section that brings in numbers

Sorry to burst your bubble but Riu would live on if led section was taken away
Or the politics one
Or the indoor growing one

No one makes the Riu website special or is that amazing of a user that they single handly keep Riu afloat

excuse me man,for calling you names but i was pissed yesterday hard mode when i found
what is happening and i readed you test lights for those unbelivable person so i was
interconnect by defoult you are her/him schill and you cover their dirt work on internet...
i didnt know you tested also other lights,etc..

Will try to hold to not break those TOUs of RIU so also one apology to forum stuff and other members
here if they was feel insulted by mine actions yesterday..

I come anyway to learn here on LEDs and to have contact with legitt cool people that are sincere
and they care and share knowledge with accuracy... i found more than few already that are
in same vibration..

The need for moderation is solved simply with one concept - If you go into a members thread and try to engage them in conversation in whatever manner and they are not interested in your point of view or further conversation with you, see yourself out of that thread rather than sticking around just for the sake of the argument.
It is pretty simple and the mature thing to do. Just move along to a conversation that is more productive for both you and the other members and 98% of the name calling will never happen.
I too am sorry for any not so nice things I have said to other members by letting myself be baited by some of the negative posting :peace:

I have been playing around with led quite a while behind the scene and finally a product comes along that addresses my concerns with LED Spectrum Deficiency. That product happens to be HGL. I have not personally seen the chaos you people keep trying to bring up.
Nor am I afraid of having the popo come into my grow. (nor do I believe the bullshit stories by those who clearly were trying to not pay for merchandise received) We are clearly not in the same situation and that is unfortunate for you. I suggest you move west my friend.
For the rest of us on the legal cannabis forefront, the HGL product is representing a step forward. A product addressing the weak points in led spectra and the new board design will address the distribution concerns.
I am ready to see if led can replace my hps and save some power :peace:

Eh/a51 acted like an asshole to some, no disrespect, he knows this......hence the hate. Posted his million+ $ bank account balance like a jackass too......yes, crazy. back in the states and doing "well" if anyone cares.

GG/plc, not everyone likes him, you included. You recommend hgl garbage over any of his superior gear. Gotta say only one that went from the grower with extensive R&D (drone cxa and cxb) and did it right, very legit IMO. we always respected each other, wish him well

Steven with his maximizer also didn't know shit when he arrived, other led company guys gave him advice/info on builds(gg included) and whatnot. Then claimed the best cob fixture on the market(maximizer/hate that name) months later with no sphere test. Faked ppfd #s on that light, etc. Not saying more, we all moved on and he gained respect in here, also partnered with Robin, brilliant decision; very smart cat. Focused on efficiency and went with it to the bank.......

Timber was in tv electronics, learned from here and evolved into what they are currently. I helped a little with half-assed ideas and crappy "test grows"..

Amare started as a drop shipper, currently still a drop shipper.......lol, above-average Alibaba lights, they pick the china factories carefully. Quality parts ,decent mid bin chips, some top? Not sure...

Can go on? Members are probably thinking I should decrease caffeine consumption & STFU. I agree

Why do you think DE hps is still the go-to commercially? Superior spectrum? ha.......whatever

well, you booted ledgirl quick multiple times, so you got that going for you. I'm not for censorship AT ALL. but this one-"woman" shit show irks me big time as a grower, maybe I'm too emotionally attached??? yep, fuck her and her crappy/cheap high-profit lights== with no yield increase over current ebay/amazon options.

I remember most of what has occurred here as @PSUAGRO. detailed above and recognize it as mainly accurate. I still use some white Cree a51 panels and am happy with them even today. I was treated very well there. Others didn’t have the same experience. And the late incoherent night rambling and all was ridiculous. Had kind of a trump approach to himself.
What is baffling to me is why some here defend Scammie after all these years of the same line of shit. She is radioactive. Poisonous.

Am told Gypsy before 2-3 weeks when he banned me cause of HGL lights that he look good on karma..
i didnt need to wait long.. but i know that he is not innocent same as HGL hermi boy,Gypsy knowed

Same with Phylos afair... Sam the Scumman was trick people calling them to give samples..
when Phylos exploded like soap ballon then he acted he is innocent,didnt know nothing..

when people called Sam the Skunkman out cause of wrongdoings to community they will

And we are on internet,there is no body to protects our rights if there are folks that think
to trick you.. but i love fact these community readed good owner of HGL lights and
you prevented further tricking of people.. or that somewanne is snitched..

happends to your members... and there is open conversation on these thematic that is not censored,

Wouldn't argue with your post, EH is a good guy that built good lights and some would say an acquired taste, Heaven Bright guy would probably have Cammie as a role model.

Could you point me to the alibaba versions of the Amare lights? I havn't been able to find the Sb800 specifically. I'm not above buying one from asia it is costs half as much or less :).
