Anyone use the Herbsnow dryer?

Hello all Getting close to harvest and trying to figure out what I am going to do when I get ready to dry as my humidity sucks in the lowish 30s and even using a humidifier only gets it up low 40s. I've seen some say use paper bags and some use boxes.

Keep seeing that Herbsnow dryer, is it legit or a waste of time? Kinda goes against taking it slow on the dry, but would save me some space.

Seems kinda too good to be true.

That humidity is fine and i have dried many times at 40, keeping temps lower by finding the right area in your house and also avoiding areas of stagnant air is fine.

I cant help that drying and curing generates a lot of technical rubbish that never was related to drying weed in the first place.

Sucks but thats weed sites for you :-)

First time posting but been growing since 2011. I know the my herbs now is getting good reviews at least on ig.. i asked them how it works an what temps an they said it operates at 75 to 80drgrees it uses a fan and can not cool or add humidity..so basiclly its a food dehydrator..as far as people raving about how great it is, id be willing to bet most r newbs or just dont know..kinda shady to be targeting peolle who dont know any better. I was tryn to not be a hater, but then i saw this cropped pic of lab results..i mean u can post multiple pics on 1post on ig...i find it hard to believe people loose thc from hang drying..as a hash maker i know how delicate sum terps are an blowing warm dry air over them is gonna cause them become volatile.

I just finally finished this first grow and got to use it and it worked pretty good. The first few days you hardly notice anything, but by the 4th day the smells really started to come out.

I don't know who you talked to but the hygrometer I put in there the temps never went over lower 70s and it is dependent upon the humidity in the room. By the end of the 4th day the buds were sitting at 58% RH. Jarred them up and within 24-48 hrs they were in the lower 60's RH.

Overall I am very impressed with the machine and it has already paid for itself. Saves me space and time, only downside is its reliance on the ambient RH and it only fits around 4-6 oz.

Few tips I can provide are leave the sugar leaves on. Put a hygrometer and a stem in the top tray. I would also maybe pull it at around 90-92 hours so the buds can stabilize in a paper bag overnight.

I've been looking at these too. I see a few commercial ops using them, so I don't think it's a gimmick. I seen a little shot glass looking thing they have that you can put water in, and into the machine. Helps slow the drying, dry climate, etc.

By tge end of the 4th day the buds were sticky and smelled very good and at the perfect RH to start the cure. Overall I am very pleased with the results.

That's pretty much what I've been hearing everywhere about this unit. I'll probably buy a couple in the future, thanks for the reply.

I want to try one of these but $150 is alot for a glorified food dehydrator

Walmart has food dehydrators that look exactly like these for $49

Might just buy one of them and test it out
Cardbord box and a red cfl at 20w does just as good
but I'm old school and like the way my throat works

good luck

Grow Weed Easy just posted a side by side comparison on Instagram. They found surprisingly comparable results to hang drying low and slow for two weeks. I think there’s still more of the comparison to come as the rest of the plants finish hang drying, but the initial verdict was that is does a decent job and doesn’t immediately ruin your weed...but has a very small capacity so isn’t cost effective for many growers.

You can stack the drying racks up to i think its like 7 or 8 eh. Plug like 4 or 5 of those stacked to max and i would think it could dry a good amount in 96 hours or whatever it was again. Still just very very leary of spending money on a widely untested product lol

8 racks if you buy the extra 3 pack. I have a sample drying now, I will let you know what's up Sat or Sunday. Pretty skeptical myself...
