Anyone have mold issues with MC being left in gallon jug? I have 1 plant that I water 1/2 gallon every other day, so I mix up the full gallon and let it sit for a day in the grow room to get to room temp, water the next morning then use the rest of the water 2 days later. This last time I noticed brown/black spots all around the inside of the jug. Now I just mix what I need for the watering and clean and dry the jug out.

Im loving using MC, plants appear to be growing great without any issues.

I usually just weight it and add it to the res. I did mix some with water once in a jug and left it for a few days with no mold. Out of the light in a shaded area.

So I’ve been using MC for a couple runs now, old formula. But on this most recent run I want to try adding in some MKP as a bloom booster, I’m just not exactly sure how to go about it.
Should I just add it to the regular strength mix of MC or should I lower the amount of MC to accommodate the MKP? Does anyone else here also use a bloom booster and if so how do you go about adding it in?

I'm using the Greenleaf P-K booster in flower at two different levels as recommended. I add it to the full suggested strength of MC. So yes, add it to your regular strength mix.

I personally start feathering in PK booster ( Bud explosion) the third week of flowering and again start tapering off the 6-7-8th week depending on strain. I cut back on the MC in order to get my ppm level that i need when adding PK boost or anything else to the mix. Hope this helps. Megacrop has been working well for me. Not saying this to disagree wit the Hippy just saying how i do it. And of course your total PPM's has a lot to do with the amount of lighting and grow method.

So far I’m half way through a full cycle of using MC. In veg it was spectacular but I’m starting to get think it’s just does a decent job in flower. Someone else mentioned it in an other post and i might have to agree with him.
Some strains I have going are doing really well but others are not developing the way they used to when I was using orher fertilizers. I have two cookie and cream crosses that are looking to be airy buds which that wasn’t the case in previous. These pics were taking at day 31 in flower so I’m not fully discrediting MC fully because they could bulk up.

Have you added any PK boost to the MC

I have now since I noticed this but I never used pk boosters in the past. I always ran House and Garden without a bloom booster.
I know a few that have tried it as a stand alone and succeeded. But i think even the majority of those folks use a PK boost during the phase where she needs the most PK. I used the bud explosion the first time i ran MC. The girls seemed pretty happy with the boost so i have just continued use with all strains with out any real issues.

Good luck with it and keep us posted on your progress. I am still on the old formula and will be for a while. I am not rely sure on what they changed when they went to the new formula.
You got it man, I think they upped the cal/mg ratios if I'm not mistaking. Not sure if they changed the npk values.

Uh-oh, currently my plant is flowering and i'm feeding @ 6g/gal, the lowest fan leaves appear to be slightly yellowing. I'm using 400w hps lighting. Think I need a bloomer?

I wouldn't think so. I rarely go over 4 gr in my mixing but i usually have something else in there. Almost always have additional cal- mag in the mix( LED lighting). I know it sounds crazy but what you are describing sounds like it did not get enough nitrogen during early flower. I know Greenleaf has been very good about answering e-mails from me about questions i had about there product. I kinda wish Greenleaf would step in here and explain why they changed the formula and exactly what they did to it. I did here talk a while back about MC having to much nitrogen for the flower cycle. I have not experienced any nitrogen issues but i am always on the low side of mixing because of other additives. Just out of curiosity what kind of PPM reading are you getting with the 6 gr mix

I use about 5.5g in late flowering with really no issues. A bit of yellowing late in flower but that's what you want. Using about 4.75 in early flower. Both with P-K boost. I also use some cal mag in both stages. But just started that in the last 5 weeks. Using MC only plusthe P-K and calmag. I'm still tweaking somewhat but find Mega Crop to be the most forgiving stuff I've EVER used.

Was it this thread where you seen that discussion about too much N? After reading your post it might be the reason I'm experiencing these airy buds.
