Get that young lady a Bangolin!
Now I am curious. Are those yours?
Top two are mandolin-banjos, bottom is a banjo
No, I just have a mandolin, and a disassembled banjo. The banjo very well likely shall remain in such conditionNow I am curious. Are those yours?
Was that an intended or unintended disassembly? No, I just have a mandolin, and a disassembled banjo. The banjo very well likely shall remain in such condition
According to the cyclic model of the Big Banjo theory, expect sudden reassembly as the Universe goes to the coda ...No, I just have a mandolin, and a disassembled banjo. The banjo very well likely shall remain in such condition

Intended. I used to play (rather tinker) banjo 40 odd years ago. A few years ago I was going to start again. Long story short, I hadn't treated it well , it was in my shop for most of that time. Humidity, expansion, contraction fucked it up and it couldn't stay in tune past 10 min. I took it apart, consulted some pros and it would be way too expensive to fix a cheap banjo. I was advised to just get a new one. So I bought a mandolinWas that an intended or unintended disassembly?

That bass I got a while back, well, it needs to be re-fretted. I guess I'm going to buy some tools and frets in the near future. I'm not paying some guy $300 bucks to re-fret a $100 guitar.I bet @Blue Wizard can fix it
I wonder what they taste like.
Nice. Ive seen some really nice cheap frets get done. Itll come out real niceThat bass I got a while back, well, it needs to be re-fretted. I guess I'm going to buy some tools and frets in the near future. I'm not paying some guy $300 bucks to re-fret a $100 guitar.
Other than that I've got it all fixed. Replaced the pickups and harness, fixed the neck, fixed the bridge and got the action nice and low. The frets are coming up near the G string (lol G-string) on frets 8-15 or so. It plays great unless you play in that area. The frets won't stay in when I push them down so I've got to pull them and I figure if I'm going to do that many I may as well replace them all.
