The Chinese Quantum Board Knock Off Builds

The boards are the 800 FoTop's, 3500K, running off two 600H drivers and one 320 driver, the fixture is 2meters long, 96cm wide, weighs a metric ton. :)
Excellent
You must have the heatsinks too. My boards are light weight

What in the world are you going to do with that much power? I can't conceive of a space that would be appropriately sized to a fixture of those dimensions, running that much juice!
A 2m x 1m area..?? Lol

Because even if we disregard the fact that Meanwells put out more juice than rated, you'll be at almost 50w per square foot. That's mighty high for LED.
Implying that I’ll be running the drivers maxed out :) which I won’t be. Also to be honest I was originally going to go with 6 boards but it was going to be cramped. I settled for 5 with around 12cm spacing between each.

No offense, but why use three drivers turned down rather than two turned up? If I'm not mistaken (and I'm no expert, so I could be), those drivers don't achieve a noteworthy gain in efficiency when run low. Are you doing it to keep them cooler, extending their useful lifespan?

In fact a driver loose efficiency when not running full/near full power

No offense taken.

The two boards split between the 600 will have them running at around 300 watts each. The single 320 will be dimmed slightly to match that output, so it’ll be 300*5. I’m really having trouble here understanding your negativity towards this ? Some people blast a 4x4 area with over 1000 watts.

Most people using that kind of led diodes run between 550-650w in a 4x4.. there is one guy currently doing a 1000w+ grow in a 4x4 but he has all environment under control (temp, rh, nutes) and also uses CO2.. hes doing good so far but to my knowledge hes the first or one of the first to try that kind of power in that big of a space and document it

In your case it will be 1500w in a 4x8.. thats a lot of power but you should be fine.. if your fixture allow it id probably try to have a little bigger spacing between your 3 middle board and a bit less on the ones closest to the sides of your tent to have a little better uniformity. Nice fixture by the way

With HPS or blurple, yes, but unless you're running co2, I can't imagine pounding a 4x4 with 1000 watts of LM561C. There's a reason most people here recommend 30-40 watts per sq/ft (and fewer use 40 than use 30). And honestly, it seems like a waste of a driver that could be used for another fixture in another grow space. But do your thing, man! The proof is in the plants.

Thanks for the comments guys.

@Humple - I will be running c02, dehumidifer, humidifer, aircon, two fans for active intake, environmental monitoring.
Sure you've 7ft of headroom to play with.
Either full blast up high or dim and get closer, you decide.
You can also invest in more boards without needing more drivers for a better spread.
I've 2 boards on the 320h at 150 watts per board, 300 watts total but now it's getting cooler I can fire it up to 366 watts.... without heatsinks!
