How many watts? Got a link?
Watt is based on driver you use moflow tested the 800led board and at 200w you didnt need a heatsink.. which is good.. but you can still run them higher250-300w each board but then you loose a bit on efficiency and generate more heat. His test were done with the older lm561 diodes, its probably a little better with the lm301b if they use the real samsung diodes which is never a guarantee when dealing with chinese seller from china

It's not purely based on what driver you use. Theres a range of watts for it to be ran at just like you got around to saying in the second half of the post..
It the photo it looks like it's running so I assumed it came with a driver.

So is there a link this this product or just this photo?

As per Moflows thread and our own tests, these run cool with no heatsink at 200w, with fairly even spread over a 4x2, around 800-1000ppfd at 12", bit less around the edges. The simplicity of just hanging a board, no heatsink made it a winner with my partner. But should have some frame or backing board as it might bend under its weight when hot, or suspended from corners and middle. This time we will try 3mm of alusheet behind with some a 2" margin around to have sone place for diodes and such, and were looking at driving it at 250w, 3 over each 2x1m section. For mutliple overlapping lights 16" works better.

No its real its about 50% off retail price(keep in mind shipping is usually pretty high from china) for similar board/driver combo but you get random quality items but they grow good lots of grow journal to confirm this. You can check my last grow in my signature

My only concern is that I missunderstand the offer. But I've sent them a msg asking for photos of what's included in the offer I'm interested in an I'll get it figured out.

I basically gotta find a light for less than or equal to $300 that will be 300 + watts at the wall. If I'm understanding this correctly, the 3 boards at 200 watts each gives me up to 600 watts at the wall.

Im pretty sure its not. Last price i got from rita was 128usd for one fotop -lm301b top bin, whatever that means. And shipping was about 100$. Living in the eu the led-tech.de Zeus 308 boards are a very good alternative. No import taxes and shipping must be a lot cheaper. Also, they seem very reliable, they publish their own tests which look very believeable.

If youre after a cheap deal we got quoted about 25$ for qb304 clones. At that price you can just run them soft with no heatsink. Run it at 35-50w and just treat it like a cob, 1 per square foot. Running a qb that soft will probably make up for them not being hlg quality. Ymmv

Ya I'll have to wait an see what I get told, shipping to the states from China normally isnt too bad but I wont know anything for sure till they get back to me.

It gets very hot in the summer where I live, 80F at night when these will be ran. 100f+ during the day
A/C isnt really a option.
Best time to prepare for summer is the winter so I got a while to work this out.

In the us you might get hit by tarriffs aswell. Boards are aluminium, not sure how the thing goes

I paid 400$ usd shipping included to canada received the light 2-3 days after payment. They will lower the package value for the shipping to lower custom. And it was for 4 x 304 boards with 2 double heatsink and 2x meanwell 240 driver giving 520w at the wall at full power. I know this is a little over your budget but it depends on your grow space too. My order was fine for my 4x4 space but if yours is smaller you could probably get away with less boards. If I remember it was around 25$ per board 15$ for the double heatsink and 68$ for the driver which came close to 250$ of product with 150$ of shipping. That was almost a year ago but hopefully this give you a good ball park of what to expect. I know the fotop board are a little more pricey but you dont need the heatsink if ran at 200w each or lower shipping wise im not sure but yeah just get in contact with them they will quote you for your need. Best time to contact Rita and get immediate reply for me was around midnight-1am eastern time!

Hope youll keep us posted once you get your new light.

This is for about a 3x3 area or so. I've very successfully vegged this area with 100 watts led wall to wall, but I want a little more power for flower. Even 200 watts should do it well honestly. But with 300 watts+ I have a range to dim it and move the light to one of my other flower areas.

So they got back to me, the board I was interested in was 320 watt max power, and they wanted 268$ for it, and a little over 100$ ship it. From inside the United states. What a joke. What's the point of dealing with China if theres no real discount. As far as I can tell it's actually cheaper to buy from HLG.

Here's the next batch under the lights.

4 x clones of Royal Queen Seeds "Royal Gorrilla"
I had them under 5 cxbs in an 80cm x 80cm tent late veg and early flower.
They are now, today at Day 28 of 12 on 12 off.

So now they're in the finishing room, under the mix of boards.
I dropped a nuclear warhead sized sulphur bomb in the room earlier today for thrip control and aired it well but it still whiffs a bit lol.
Moved plants in about an hour ago.

The last 2 pics are more knock off full spectrum boards....... 'from the depths of uv to far red' they say on their website lol
30 watts on 50 x 3 watt epileds from above and 30 watts on 150 x 3 watt Epileds on the side.

Here's the last batch, Paradise Seeds Sensi Star original.
I've just taken it off the stalks.
A nice haul.

And some close ups.

I can't speak highly enough about this Paradise Seeds Sensi Star pheno.

Although I dare not say I've got it ready or there'll be a queue outside my door.

Imagine if they were grown under real Samsung diodes........
