I'm getting a light plant smell when the lights go out, I'm thinking the connection between my fan and carbon filter is not airtight.
My fan is connected straight to the filter, and exhausts out the tent.
I used the good foil duct tape, but its not flexable at all, and I'm thinking there are gaps i cant see. I have tore if off twice and redone it to get a good seal.
Any suggestions on how to make a good air tight seal?
Actually the fan fits inside the filter, and its not a tight fit, big gap, so taping it is akward.
Maybe i should find some ducting and use clamps...uggh
I was thinking some good rubbery duct tape high quality that sticks good, and use that maybe i can get a better seal, anyone know a good brand.
its a huge filter 550 cfm and fan is 380 cfm in a 2'x4' tent (8sq ft lol)(overkill) , but i dont want any smells. any help appreciated
heres how i have : see the connection there
where else could the smell be coming from?
