Anyone know if Kodi or any these other services also include USA network Tv like NBC and CBS. My girlfriend likes a show or two on there.

How about Mr. Robot and Ozark with Jason Bateman? They are on Ntflix or HBO? Thanks.

kodi is outdated get terrarium tv it will have everything your looking for. Will need something running on android. Fire tv, shield tv, phone with a chromecast, dual boot android os on your pc. or download bluestacks on a windows pc. It has ads but you can get the ad free version if you google it. or just patch it yourself with lucky patcher or one of the many other ways.

Kodi No limit is the best. It has everything you just asked about. No limits updates the build twice a month. Anything else is sketchy at best..

Works on everything no dual booting needed. Pc, iOS, apk etc

PS if you must run Android stuff on PC use blue stack emulator.

Yeah the Nvida Sheild seems to be the box to get. I have an older 45" or so plasma. It does have HDMI port. I am wondering if the Fire Stick is good enough as the Sheild is a little more than I want to spend. I do not like Amazon though with their spyware shit.

Because of you, I did a MR. Robot marathon last night and finished with Fallen Word. Today is some sheet from Netflix my wife likes. ;-)

Did you like Mr. Robot? It has a really creepy vibe. I watch very very little TV and usually whack it off some streaming site. About the only thiongs I might watch are Mr. Robot, Ozark and Silicon Valley. I am way behind on Mr. Robot episodes.

I am torn between FireStick or a box like a Nvida Shield or some other box. I need to make a decision. My girlfriend said she is gonna call those crooks at Comcast and get some service! :spew:I told her NOOO.

Went to check something else at Best Buy and they have the high end Fire Stick box. Thanks.

I loved Mr Robot. Yeah the first season was pretty dark, the second season was like WTF is going on. Man you gotta get caught up on it. :-)

Plenty to watch on whichever build we have all recommended that you choose.

Lowest cost is firestick. The others do the same things just costs more.

Should've grabbed a stick when they were 19.99 couple of weeks ago. Saved some loot. ;-)

As far as spyware goes at this point everything is spyware to some degree. What they do with the information is different ?.

Good luck on your journey.

The Sheild looks like it is the rig to own. Do you plug it into your router or run it on Wi fi? I saw that setting up Kodi is the easiest on The Shield by NVidia.

I hardwire. But WiFi is fine if you have good internet. I'm running off 200Mbps. much faster then the fire tv box.

I'm hardwired in front to a 1 gig connection. AC wifi in the back on the little sticks at 680 minimum to 1 gig depending on environment. AC max speed is 1.3g

Nic speed is irrelevant, line speed, gateway speed and file server speed dictate quality of service. But yeah.

Get the shield and join us. ;-)

Nothing on the market can beat the shield on speed and customization. Are you rooted?

Yes, I can install anything on the firesticks. Just need nolimits nothing else though.

If it's the same as the front end software that updates when the drivers for my gtx video cards updates. Then yes.
If you mean tried Nvidia set top box then no, don't want to spend 100$ for it. Not gonna use shadow play or transfer games. If I was gonna do that I would build a micro media server and do it right.

Are you referring to CPU speeds and RAM for running apps? The specs.

No the beta is a stand alone program on the shield. can also get it on any pc but have to sign up can take a long time to get in .But included on the shield tv. It let's you link your steam account and play games on max settings. Without a expensive pc. it could run on a netbook.

Yeah, that's the one. But like I was saying I'm wouldn't use it for that so it's pointless for me and to recommend to a non gamer related post. Probably is great.

Yeah I hated they started making you sign in to use the app. I used to stream with it to twitch years ago. Optimize all my games automatically etc.

I ain't hating on it. Just recommending a practical low cost option. I gave up 4 posts ago anyway honestly. He can buy whatever he likes. I just want him to get some movie time on something.

Yeah the shield tv isn't for everyone. expensive compared to other options. I run the older fire tv box in my bedroom. The one with sd slot and able to hardwire. don't like the newer box or the cube. It runs everything fine. but the shield tv menus are alot faster.

Girlfriend wants tv now. I may go with Firestick. Should I install Kodi or Wookie which supposedly simplifies KODI. Not the more expensive Firesticks or box? Maybe Firestick to start and then go to The Nvidia Shield.

Some videos say no VPN is needed.
