Girlfriend wants tv now. I may go with Firestick. Should I install Kodi or Wookie which supposedly simplifies KODI. Not the more expensive Firesticks or box? Maybe Firestick to start and then go to The Nvidia Shield.

Some videos say no VPN is needed.
I don't think you understand how kodi works. First download kodi then add the build you want. Or set it up yourself and add add-ons separate. Also if you go with fire stick and nolimits. Make sure during setup you choose the fire stick version. If not it will be slow. nolimits is a big file compared to other lighter builds.

I use Magic No Limits build and lately most of the apps have been shit as the streams don't work. It was awesome a month or two ago. Anyone have any good builds better than that?

I should be getting my Amazon Fire Stick. I try to avoid giving Bezos more money. Amazon just "won" a no bid contract for $10 billion for a cloud computing setup for the Pentagon. Most people do not know Amazon has a major cloud computing operation. The f**king govt contract bid was written so only Amazon could get the contract.

I don't mind saving some money. Google and Microsoft are my nemesis's.

Oh I do not like them either. In the past, IBM would have gotten that deal. IBM has really fallen. I do not like them either or General Electric. I am pro small and medium sized businesses.

I am kind of eyeing this for $89 too. I will try the Firestick first. I also got there 25 mile digital antenna for $8.99. The major local TV network stations are about 50 miles away.

Looks nice, would be better with more RAM, faster CPU and USB 3 ports. Current Kodi build is 17.8 and beta 18. That unit has 17.6 kyrpton.

I would try it though.

I will poke around with the FireStick first. That box I think can expand to 32 gig of RAM with SD card or something. Yeah the CPU is pretty anemic. The Sheild looks like it is the thing to get and I kind of like Nvidia better than Amazon, Google, Apple, et al. Thanks.

F that. Weed is almost free in Oregon. I just got this for my old lady to watch TV. Personally - I mosty hate f***king TV. I want free shit and not Sponge Bob. F Hollywood.

I got the Firestick going and I will try to add Kodi now. I hope I can watch Mr. Robot, Ozark and Silicon Valley for free on Kodi or I have been scammed once again. .

All that shit is free on loads of free web sites. These f**kers have been stealing from people around the world for centuries.

Stealing how exactly? Making money off of operating a business where you pay for people? Like the 300 people it takes to make walking dead...or 500 or what have you.

Thieving bastards always have excuses....stop robbing cable.

Paid for by Ronald Reagan ! Those were the days eh...

Downloaded and got Kodi No Limits. Trying to access US network TV and it just sits there with a purple circle.. Nice interface but I have no idea how to watch anything or why it is so slow. Geez. Maybe one of those services that is 60 euros a year,

Its 10 to 15 a month per box but you need a box like buzz xpl 3000 or Dreamlink iptv boxes or a box named global box. Android boxes will work if they are the latest.
Have to buy a box separate though the price between 10 to 15 bux is just for the live iptv and vod section.

Once you have the box you find a reseller. I find the server I use is the best out there. Supported very well. Called the ok2 server. Has Canadian and also American ch. Other languages as well.
As for a box I find the best to be the buzztv box and the global box.On these boxes you can watch kodi and load terrarium.
Some people just use kodi and terrarium but me I like live tv without buffering.
Iptv is like a cable box.
And yes you need high speed if you don't it wont work very well.
IPTV says it will work on a FireStick. I got Kodi No Limits installed but it is slow and does not seem to work well.

I am asking IPTV via email if they have USA TV networks. Also wondering if there is any lag.

So I tried to run NBC's Dateline archived off the Amazon Firestick. The show is about 46 minutes and after 11 minutes it goes into a buffering loop. BS. Comcast is 25 mb down and about 3 mb up. Useless.
