'Active Duty Discharge' The military is purging experienced personnel on flimsy excuses

I heard it in NPR earlier this afternoon. Do your own damned homework and quit cribbing from mine.
Jesus Christ.

You wrote the fucking OP and you are telling others to do their own damned homework.

1 minute. It took one fucking minute you shrinking moron.

LINK: https://www.npr.org/2018/07/06/626442085/army-discharges-immigrants-promised-a-path-to-citizenship-ap-reports

And the story isn't about the Army changing policies to flush out all immigrants.

I'm waiting a while before even considering this as news.

At least I have enough to actually listen to the four minute piece that caused your rambling.

You left out that this was a story about immigrant soldiers - kind of an important point as to do so implied that any US service person was at risk of this happening. You left out how many this has happened to: 40, thereby greatly overstating the effects of the entire issue. You left out that the story had one source and then later that one source was asked what their opinion was as to why this is happening. They stated their opinion which you dismissed as "an excuse" thereby divorcing yourself from the source itself and calling their integrity into question.

Evidence to the contrary? Your only source gave evidence to the contrary you idiot!

I was wrong about the D+. You fail, miserably.

Your ramblings are in the realm of Alex Jones'. Please start a podcast and save America.
Well that's what I get for accepting it at face value...

I didn't expect his claim to be so worthless. I was just pointing out it's utter lack of facts and hoping he could add more. You noticed how he reacted. Accusing me of cribbing his homework when I asked for source material all the while inviting contrary evidence is about the most disingenuous thing possible. This guy is as unstable and egotistical as Trump.

I know you will foam at the mouth for me saying this, but you invite evidence to the contrary while you have provided no evidence of your thesis - not a scintilla. This is an opinion piece. I am not saying that I disagree with it but for you to imply that it is anything but is ridiculous.

Maybe it is true. If so, post actual evidence rather than just repeating an opinion that got you juiced up. This is the worst of intellectual folly. Do your homework before waving your hands around and running in circles

D+ work. Come see me during my office hours.
the evidence is that THEY ARE NO LONGER THERE:wall:

why are they planning on internment camps when they have PLANS OF A WALL?

why am i even asking this question? how come 'internment camps' have become part of the american vocabulary?

he's market testing and pushes the envelope a little more each tine in normalization efforts.

I read the article linked and am confused :(. So your worried about the eventual take over of the citizenship, turning the US into a military state based on 40 (so far) terminated contracts due to a faulty vetting process? Your statement that most would call this paranoid carries some weight, if the article is read in its entirety. You left out some very important statements that change the whole context of your quotes. I have to wonder why you did this? And citing your deep state contacts to confirm the article as an agenda to a military take over, given the actual article is read, is even more confusing :(.

I have said it many times here and once again for your benefit; I volunteered for the army when I was 18 and was rejected due to poor eyesight.

It would have been a great experience for me, just as it was for my father, and it would have taught the obnoxious young punk that I was some badly needed discipline and direction.

If you go back and carefully read my posts you will find that I never, ever denigrate those who serve. I'm tough on the organization (all of them, as needed), I'm highly critical of the people and motives who send them into harm's way and I'm even harsh on those in uniform who dishonor themselves and their country... but never, ever do I disrespect those wearing the uniform, doing their job as best they can- or those who ever did. That holds true even if I disagree with their political stance, party affiliation or point of view.

If you can find any exception, feel free to call me on it.
You have actually lobbed some hate at me based on my service. Also, you're still an obnoxious punk.

The evidence of an eventual military take over is no where to be found, which I believe was the point of the thread. Well at least I’m not seeing it :(.
Exactly. The thing that really struck me in Tty's post is the challenge to refute his opinion with contrary evidence as if he had presented a logical case. He hadn't but believed that he had - the same way he reads opinion pieces on the internet and considers them news if he wants to believe them. This is no better than a rabid member of Alex Jones', Limbaugh's or Hannity's audience or a supporter of Trump. He is a symptom, not a solution.

By the rules of logic, that which is freely asserted is freely denied.

His post sucks.

I listened to his source material and read the stories in the news this morning. It is a shameful situation that makes me truly sad for those affected. Our country made an agreement with these people and should honor it. Perhaps it is part of our increasing anti-immigrant bias. But Tty left crucial facts out that undercut his opinions. Whether he did this out of inate dishonesty or incompetence is up for debate.

I agree that it is a rotten thing the government has done ..... but ..... and I may have misinterpreted his objective of the thread, it seems a far cry from an eventual military state, just a douche move by a douche GOP. And on a side note D9265119-C8A8-4D3E-8028-8783A355D273.png

You are reading into things that are not as sinister as you would imagine. I highly doubt an order was passed down through several branches to single out and eliminate experience among ranks. If anything the military as a whole might want more fresh bodies that are unbiased and ready to serve under possible war times as opposed to be remnants of an obama peacetime military that has been slowly deteriorating over the past several years. I am in no way talking against obama as I served under him, but the military as a whole has started becoming complacent and the "Experienced" NCO's do not possess combat experience and they may want people who are younger and still have that "fight " in them and don't mind going overseas if need be and spending months to years fighting and dying for the "greater purpose".

I was casting shade on the number of them, and wondering what their motives might be.

Can you even have an honest debate or do you have to act like a petulant bitch 24/7?
Here is what you said.

"No, they like establishment players. You want to get creeped out? Check out how many establishment Democratic candidates have military and/ or intelligence backgrounds.

What do you think they're going to do with the skills they learned and used against foreign governments? Forget about them? I rather suspect not..."

Talk about baseless inuendo. Creeped out, eh?
