I don't use one or the other. I don't use carbon filters. I don't use fans on my plants. I grow simple. A tent. A light. Pots with coco only. GH Micro and Bloom with CalMag when needed only. Thats it buddy. No magical nutrients. No oerfect soils. No increase yeilds by 10 techniques except topping. Thats all. You nees to slow down being new.

For seedlings light needs to be 24-32". Veg 18-24" and flower 12-18" depending on what it can take. Its way too close.

is the air flow bad for the plants? I have a small 15 cm fan installed inside the tent that always runs. It creates a medium breeze inside the tent. It doesnt move, but I've already pointed it at the light, not the plant(s).
Trust me Matty the bug has barely just bit you. That's how it always starts. First your running a small easy grow. Next you'll be filling that 4x4 scrog or sog with triple your lighting now lol.
No its not bad. Air is good creates strong stems. It also can dry the plant out and cause leaf damage by wind burn if to strong. One of those things people will argue over but i prefer it not directly on a plant.
I def plan on getting a second 135 QB after this grow. Its my first with Mephisto and QBs so i wanted to play as safe as i could. Personal grower so i just stay as simple as can be but im def going to want 6-8 under 2 135QBs for sure. I got 9 strains from them and already see a few more a want XD
If it's just a single plant why even bother soaking it in soapy water. It's not like if it has bugs or disease that it will infect another plant. I'd flush the roots and sick it in a pot and just bring it indoors. If you are worried about insects and things just go over the entire plant with a magnifying glass. If you see something on the plant then dunk it. I wouldn't stress a plant and risks stunting it unless I was 100% sure it was totally neededSo, I'm going to remove the plant's soil as much as possible, wash away dirt from the roots, dunk the whole thing in a tub of unscented organic soap solution, rinse off with water (or soak in a tub of water), repot in clay pebbles+coco mix, spray with neem oil solution, and finally bring it inside.
IF doing this was my only option, 1) Am I doing everything I should be doing? In the right order? 2) Is there anything else I should be doing? 3) what tips/advice can you give me regarding the whole process? (I'm willing to go overboard with anything I'd have to do in order for this to work!)
I have two more plants (seedlings) in the tent.
Flush the soil off the roots and clean the root zone then put it into the coco but take care not to break any roots. I've never brought a plant from outside inside if I'm honest. Most bugs if it even has any will be in the soil. Check the entire plant top to bottom with a magnifying glass to ensure nothing is hiding amongst the foliage. I'm sure at some point you have bought a house plant from a garden centre? Did you dunk that in soapy water also?
How about neem oil solution spray?
I only buy feminised seeds. Give the remaining seeds more time. I find putting the cotton pads inside zip lock bags and them somewhere dark and warm they normally cracking withing 2 to 3 days. Neem oil won't hurt. It will kill any insects on your plants.
Done! Now, I have two seedlings and one 20-25cm plant in my tent. I potted them all up. They're in Autopot system and I watered all three with 1/2 for the plant and 1/4 for the seedlings.
If they are all the same auto strain you can just feed them bloom nutrients right the way through the entire grow. Start at 1/4 strength in your rez and build them up over next week or two to 50 - 75% strength. Auto flowers don't use as much nutrients as photo period plants do. If you see any problems with nitrogen just add a little grow nutrients in with the bloom. Some people like to keep the leaves green right till harvest.
they're regular seeds. I don't know what they are. I'm not even sure the bigger plant I repotted is a female, but I think I saw some pistils under the magnifying glass.
