I’m just looking for some now. Is the 100% pure Neem oil ok to use on plants?

Here are the fuckers. They’re jumping around inside the bucket. I wonder are they on just the rooots? I’ll have the flush the system to be safe

Iv just stuck some of those sticky things in there now had some left over from summer. I’m lucky i spotted them now before the plants started budding. I’ll give them a good going over with the Neem to be safe while I can

So iv been keeping an eye on the room and the leaves, I can't see any whiteflies. They only seemed to made there way into the brain bucket. How? I have no idea. If they came in from the cold air intake, they would be in the room. If they came in from an open tent door, they would be in the room. The brain bucket is sealed with a lid and the pots sit tight on the buckets so theres so way they could have flown into the system. The rez outside the tent is sealed so they couldn't have flown in there.

Does anyone know how this could happen? Or have any experiences with whiteflies?

On a side note, I nearly drowned the girls last night. In progress of cleaning out the brain bucket I must have knocked off the sensor. The 2 pumps inside ran for about 5 mins dry. I only noticed the pumps when the system didn't drain so they must have been sitting in the solution for 8+hours. Gave them a flush with phd water and some z7 and they don't seem to have noticed the near drowning lol

Update - Week 2 Flower Day 8

Not having much luck lately with these girls. I managed to sort out the whiteflie issue. After they were sorted I went away for a couple of days she came back to this

After getting some help from the Plant Problem section it looks to be Calcuim def.

Now iv never had this before but I think I know where I went wrong. Just in case anyone else comes into the same thing.

On my last run I used RO water and had some minor CalMag def. I was adv to use a CalMag supplement with RO. So that was all good I used Calmag for the last few weeks. Now this time I’m using tap water, but I still added CalMag. So the problem seems to be too much Calcium which has now locked itself out. The tap water has Cal, Sensi Coco A&B have added Cal and then I’m also adding .2EC of CalMag. It makes sense now when I think about it.

So res has been emptied and iv flushed the system twice. I filled up a 350l res with fresh pH water and connected the flood pump. I left the drain pipes in the small res so after the first flush with clean water it will drain into a different res. Keeping the 350l res clean.

Don’t think I’ll have much more space if I need to add anything else :-D

On another note the rest of the plants look good. No other signs of issues.

Room day temp averaging 25C, humidity around 50%. Night temps around 16C and humidity 60%. I just got a new dehumidifier so I’ll be setting that up soon.

There was a good stretch in the first week but not enough to lay the second scrog. I think I may have too many heads popping through so I’ll wait until next week to get half in there to clean them up.

CalMag issues seem to be sorted now they’re brighten up a bit but I’ll be keeping a close eye.

Added Voodoo, Big Bud Coco and Bud Candy at 2ml per liter. Going to bump up the Sensi Coco Bloom A&B to 1.2EC see if they can take it.

Already starting to show some nice bud sites

So, iv identified the bugs. What I first thought was whiteflies actually turned out to be Springtails.

Horrible looking little fuckers haha. From what iv read about them they don’t cause any harm to the plants. They just jump in the water but can’t actually fly.

Anyone ever had Springtails before? Any harm to leave them there? Iv read up a few different ways to remove them but in doing so it can cause more damage to the plants

Yeah I’m thinking of just leaving them there. Iv flushed 3 times with z7 but there still hanging on. I’d rather not go down the route of peroxide’s otherise that will mess up my nice root system. I haven’t spotted any outside the bucket or on any plants so I’m not too concerned.

Some say they are beneficial to the plants. Here’s to hoping

Yeah man id leave them. Could end up doing more damage than them. Yeah i think they feed on dead plant matter and roots.

Update - Week 3 Day 14 flower

Iv decided I’m going to increase the Sensi A&B, iv been reluctant to give them more than 3/4 of the bottles recommendations as iv heard 4ml per liter would fry the plants. But if this is the case why put 4ml per liter on the instructions. Someone in AN with all their scientists must have worked this out to be the correct dose so I’m going to start sticking to the labels. Worse case scenario they get burnt lol. We’ll see what happens.

Also going to leave off pH the water as the whole point of the Sensi pH perfect is you don’t have to adjust. After adding in the A&B it generally sits around 5.9 - 6.0 so it’s within range either way.
