Pollen Chuckers vs. Real breeders

I know many people have made similar posts trying to find "the best seed bank" or "stable phenos". I want the opposite i want to get the most diverse amount of phenos i can get so that i can stablize the genetics i want. So the first thing i need is a large genetic pool(pollen chucker seeds). this will also help other people sort out the pollen chuckers and the real breeders so they can aqquire stable phenos. That being said who are pollen chuckers and who are the real breeders out there?

Genuity's got some real fire. I enjoy the Chuckers paradise thread.
I chuck stuff with similar genetics and f1,f2,f3, etc selecting from a small pool.
I don't look for "stud males" and instead look for male and female siblings that are similar and have good characteristics.
Not anything near a breeder though.
No designs on sales but trades net rare genetics. Its a neat hobby

I like your line of thought here.

Which make me wonder why almost all cannabis breeding site I've read are obsessed with homozygous genome to achieve a stable strain when there's a way to achieve stable pheno through heterozygosity (though very time consuming process). Cannabis breeders should take their lessons from animal breeders or what happen when homozygosity is carried to the extreme as in the case of pure breed dogs.

Just saying.

Exactly what im getting at some breeders may have made the strain worse by continuesly inbreeding to get "stable" phenos this why i want a breeder with seeds with diverse phenos

If you are looking for inexpensive seeds made from decent strains offering some genetic and pheno type diversity you might consider Beanhoarder at Hemp Depot.

I don't know for sure, but I suspect some of his seeds may be a little on the older side, so hopefully they've been stored properly and will retain decent germination. I like the way he describes what to expect in his seed descriptions and have found a few gems over the years that didn't cost much and so far haven't experienced any unusual germination problems.

F1 seeds will be your ticket to the most genetic diversity. You'll see some lean towards mom's side, some that lean towards dad's, and every expression in between.
Worked lines will show much more uniformity, so it sounds like you'd want to stay away from those.

I just made my first "chuck"
Hope it aint a cluck :)
If you crossed a male with a female of two different strains then you're all good. You'll be pleasantly surprised with how well the seeds do I bet. My first chuck of grape god male x several nirvana strains crystal, bubblicious, blue mystic and I think a couple others but can't remember but anyway the offspring was much better than the nirvanas and made the god some neat changes.

You'll be good

And this is part of the reason breeders like Swami do open pollination on their inbred lines. To maintain the genetic information in a selection of seeds not in any one particular seed.

Just took down 2 Sleeskunk this last week around 9 weeks and Sweet with black pepper on a lemon roll blast for the nose. Got a couple freebies years ago and crossed to a Peak Sweet Skunk and used those seeds up and got more Sleeskunk last fall. 100% germ with average size plants of hybreed build and powerful terps. Very much unusual genetics, especially for the US and Canada. I'll do some F2s and crosses when I can flower a boy outdoors.

For me thé best with auto/photo cross is that you can find some fast flowering pheno, à friend of mine crossed à landrace To à sweet skunk auto, he found à pheno that was like the dad, with 13week Instead of 20w+...
