I used to like Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom when I was younger. Man, that Marlin Perkins would just sit safely in the land rover armed to the teeth and he'd send that burly assistant Jim out completely unarmed to wrassle an alligator or something.
Stan Brock would do that barefooted

wealth inequality has nothing to do with it, it is the number of guns
Your opinion. One that is supported by the thinnest of cherry picked support.

The desperation of America's poor is rising and their children are as under served by social services as at any time since the Great Depression.

Go on thinking that the consequences of wealth inequality and the bribery soaked 'electoral' system has nothing to do with acts of desperation, and I'll go on thinking you're either blissfully ignorant, arrogantly uncaring of those less fortunate or both.

i think you possibly have apophenia, seeing patterns where there are none.
like i said, unless you want to withdraw from society and live in isolation, pay taxes like the rest of us.

second, i don't really have much of an opinion about schools, my kid is 31. i have friends with kids in school and know what they think, and most of them are not in favor of arming teachers. the people i know that are in favor of arming teachers are pretty much in favor of arming EVERYONE.....which i find an unreasonable solution.
and again, i wonder how many teachers are willing to be armed? has anyone polled them? is it going to be a requirement to teach in florida? how many will quit and look for jobs elsewhere? how many will stay and become evening news stories in the near future?

So you have no evidence to rebut the fact that threats of gun use against them is ultimately the reason why some people fund schools and that the funding is involuntary? Didn't think so.

It wouldn't matter what your opinion is or isn't about schools, they way they are funded is a fact and an opinion which differs with fact is an erroneous opinion.

You did allude to the idea that teachers should be able to self determine and chose whether or not they wish to be armed. I agree that teachers should have the right of self determination, which is why I oppose using guns to fund things.
It sounds like your analysis of apophenia, is borne from your acceptance of a default status which declares that the actor rather than the act itself is what determines whether an act is acceptable or not. In other words, you assume since violent threats by government is normal, that it should be acceptable.

Yet if you or I did the very same act, forced somebody to do something, say like forcing teachers to be armed, or forcing somebody to pay for our services, when they aren't interested in the service, we would be doing it wrong. That was a nice way for me to call you a product of your indoctrination which requires people to hold two opposing views at once and to accept that state as "normal" as in something which should perpetuate.

you would be diagnosed with a mental illness if you ever sat down with a shrink
If you had sat down on a toilet rather than squatting over the floor, the poor kid who had to mop up your best work wouldn't have suffered psychological trauma.

dude, are you roommates with retired gorilla? i DO NOT think you are stupid, but i do think you are deranged. schools are funded (along with the rest of the government) by taxes that are only collected under the threat of armed reprisal if we don't pay?
that's your opinion. and it makes me think you're a lazy greedy asshole. you want to live in our society and use our infrastructure, but you don't want to pay for it? you want to dictate where your tax dollars are spent? don't you think the fucking bureaucracy is slow enough without having to consult with every single fucking citizen to see what they want to fund with their taxes?
you call me a product of my indoctrination, like i'm a fucking retard that doesn't realize whats going on in the world, but i call you a deranged nutbar who can't understand that the rest of us do what we have to, to get along. you want to take down the government? you want a new system? then get off your ass, quit posting deranged lunatic shit, and get involved with a real movement. volunteer some time to politicians that share your views (if such an odd animal exists) or just run for office yourself, see how many people share your views while you're out campaigning. i'll bet you soon discover that you're in a very small minority.
sometimes, people really do see things that other people miss, and are visionaries, leaders, prophets. and sometimes they're just delusional asshats

Well, it's always interesting to know what others think about you, but of course that has no bearing on whether or not government schools are funded via forcible confiscation. Which they are.

Does my pointing that fact out make you angry? You seem frustrated in addition to being confused. If you don't think that's true, are you saying that people have an individual choice to fund them and if they decline, people will politely respect their choice ?

I think you have every right to purchase the things you like and I think you should pay for the things you WILLINGLY purchase. Of course I think other people have every right to make their own choices about how they'll spend their money too and if they don't like your idea, you shouldn't ask somebody with a gun to force them to fund your ideas. (I thought you were opposed to using guns irresponsibly?) They should be free to follow their own way as long as they don't force you to fund their ideas against your will. Is that so horrible?

As far as working "within the system", that's really funny too. You DON'T know what I've done there, nor do you know why it doesn't matter to me anymore. I'll give you a hint though, I've proven in court more than once that
"authorities" don't know their own laws and regularly break them. It didn't matter, so fuck that.

I'm not delusional, clearly you know that men with guns will kill you if you refuse to pay for things your "leaders" have foisted on you, even if you don't want them and don't use them.

You almost got me on the gorilla thing though, but she's not really a gorilla, but I love her and we're very happy together.

It is not wealth inequality. Other nations with similar wealth inequality do not have our gun problems.

It's the guns

You agreed to pay property taxes. You signed a contract.

Honor your responsibility mooch

That is an asinine thought you have going there. It basically means for a person to be secure in their own home, they must be forced to pay for ideas that others hold, and fund a service that they don't use, don't want and may disagree with.

You aren't concerned with responsibility, you are concerned with how to justify your own irresponsible violation of other people and how to justify theft to fund things that you like. Then you have the audacity to whine about gun control, while your bloody hand is busy shooting people who object to your robbery. Twisted. thuggish behavior.
