@GroErr if you need me post pics I probably can (and will) 6 of 7 BR x BP sprouted tails and went in dirt. I saved the best looking ones for the cup. The BRxPL I have left looks like the little brother of BR that grew up bigger and stronger. The BR is developing in smell

@JSB99 , @dstroy
code for my humidity controls
//Check to see if Humidifier is needed to adjust humidity Do this only when the lights are on
switch(MainLightStatus){
case 0:
switch(HumidifierStatus){
case 0:
if ((h1) > HighHumidity){
digitalWrite(Humidifier, HIGH);
}else{
digitalWrite(Humidifier, LOW);
}
break;
case 1:
if ((h1) < LowHumidity){
digitalWrite(Humidifier, LOW);
}else{
digitalWrite(Humidifier, HIGH);
}
break;
}

}

Thanks for providing the motivation and insight to get it done!
Good start on the beans, really looking forward to popping some of those BR x BP in ~3 weeks. Looking forward to seeing some pics of all these gals & some thoughts on what smells you're getting from that BR. Cheers.

Good thing I took 2 br clones, 1 won't make it.

The BR is something between a fruity marange and sweaty armpit. I'm no good at describing this stuff so the adjectives I choose are to provide a mental picture and don't necessarily correlate to the actual smell of a dirty armpit, but it sorta does.

Yeah I always take 2-3 just in case. Those flowering clones usually look like crap for a couple of weeks until they start re-vegging, you never know with the second one, could still take.

Lol, hadn't heard the armpit description, always interesting to hear what others smell. The fruity marange thing is pretty common though ;)

Sorry G, but this is why I'm testing this cab setup before the cup.

I've had a 2nd home for LGBTQ plants, it's separate and not equal sorry.
20180130_105434.jpg
The twist tie marks intentionally seeded branches, 3 sets of nodes on the main and several secondraries were pruned, I haven't seen any more, regardless this one's coming down in a a couple of weeks at most.

BRxPL

They got water last night, will give one more epsom treatment then water only the rest of the way. The BRxPL has been heavy drinker the whole way, its also the largest footprint, yield will be close to the rest though I think. These only got the ferment (about 3 weeks ago) at the last transplant (no cal/nit, compost teas or top dress), so just what was in my mix and water here since.

Starting back left

Phosphor on cobs is luminescing, they aren't on.

Red only20180206_210848.jpg

Also got automated humidity control in the bottom of the cab, so we all set for the cup (7 days).

Took an early cut from Herman brxpl, still 2-4 weeks out, looking at 130 days or so from germination for this round.

I think the light spectrum in quarantine is contributing to the purple color (Chinese blurple, and a hade podge of cobs 2700, 3000, 3500, 4000, 6000). It might also be that it is warmer and drier in there too.

BrxPL is beginning to fade (back left with 1ft ruler), the others probably won't fade much, this mix was kinda hot, probably should have vegged another 2 weeks and shorten the transition from 3 weeks to 2.
I think for this setup the ideal finished plant height is just over 2 ft.

Gotta make room for the cup contenders, so I beat Herman up before it'll get chopped down in a day or so. Trichs still about half clear, found one more male flower but all in all should be a positive result given the circumstances.
20180213_093421.jpg Both it and the other brxpl have a tart musky smell, herm seems a bit more pungent.
BRXPL thin hairs recede to be almost unnoticed, tart, musky.
20180213_085635.jpg
BR - migrating to skunk! more like my BR#1 than BR#2 from previous run.
20180213_085708.jpg
Mtn. Thunder - Bubblegummy with citrus hint
20180213_085735.jpg 20180213_085750.jpg
Bubbles gift - almost unpleasant odor, this may have been source of armpit smell attributed to BR earlier.

@GroErr hope you enjoyed your vacation. BR X BP seedlings and a BR reveging clone

Hey getting close on the first batch, looks like some decent amount of flowers for the size going in.

Cool to see that mutation on the BR x BP's, I have a vegger of the Blue Pyramid going and it has that white/yellow leaf mutation so not surprised to see it passed on. The clones always have one or two leaves like that on the mother. It's never gotten in the way of potency or smell ;) I popped 10 to have a look see through those BR x BP F1's and they're all through the soil so should have a good indication of what's in there :)

Gonna have to start a new thread. Ditching the cabinet, moving to a tent.

Heard a story on the radio the other day and it kinda struck me in a few ways.

http://www.radiolab.org/story/91563-lifes-limit/

It was on NPR, a show called Radio Lab. Talks about hayflick limit and is just a fascinating bit of story telling.

BR x BP are coming along, 2 are expressing some verrigation. At first it seemed to slow the one showing more, now it's pretty much the same size as 2 others, there's 1 giant and 1 runt. The runt was a helmet head I almost decapitated, it didn't even have a noticable set of cotyledon leaves.

Day 120 from germination out with the old, gave haircut yesterday, chop chop.
20180303_084454.jpg
Last one in flower, the first brxpl came down at about day 100, the br and bubbles gift at day 109ish, 2nd brxpl and 1st (seeded) mtn thunder day 118. 2nd mtn thunder getting chopped later today.

Day 30 something from germ. Plan to go 63 day veg 14 day transition from 19/5 to 13/11. Reds are on 15 min before sunrise after sunset with 60 min overlap with daytime.

Code is down to 355 lines including about 50 of wich are maintained for the purpose of lights on at night and about 20 print statements that need consolidation. The arduino is in full environmental control, I may adjust set points but I plan to leave it alone for the most part.

I'm kind of scared I'll wear the tent zipper out.

That MT looks dank :) Interesting how the yellow blotches on the BR x BP leaves came through from the BP side. They're more pronounced than the mother pheno I'm running.

Notice the one above has some very slight patterning. One of the lower leaves is complely yellow, growing slowly, but the adjacent leaf seems to be doing super. I was expecting this one to grow more slowly, but that does not seem to be the case for whatever reason.

Picked up some spanish cedar and african mohagany today, going to build a few boxes. The cedar has a earthy scent, not like aramotic cedar yould find in a closet or clothes chest. The african mahogony has virtually no smell, both are used in humidors and are very stable.

Yeah the mother I've been running for about a year gets those leaves and I noticed I have one seedling of the BR x BP coming up similar to yours with all of the leaves (only 2 nodes so far) coming in twisted and 1/2 yelow/1/2 green. On my clone it doesn't seem to affect growth at all, nor potency for that matter. It's just weird looking. Some of those bright coloured leaves also have an edge that twists in. You can see it on yours in the middle plant about 3rd node down on the left.

Interested to hear how those different woods affect smell or flavour.
