View attachment 4054726 View attachment 4054727 View attachment 4054728 Harvested some of the bud berring fan leaves. They were on 3 different plants. I created all the seeds im growing now and have been using them for almost 2 years. Never had this before. Leads me to believe it is due to some enviromental stress or condishon.

I have seen this on a few plants now. It was from too much nitrogen in flower on very sativa leaning hybrids.

The most developed one I had like yours was a hybrid with original Herijuana from Motarebel and an old Sensei Seeds jack Herrer/ power plant pollen mix.

The breeder told me it happens to Thai leaning phenos.

I learned to taper off the fertilizer during ripening and have not seen it since.

Sorry I don’t have pics in this phone anymore. But some buds grew right on leaf petioles. When we harvested they came right off when we pinched off the stem of the fan leaves. Fully developed buds.

Anyway. That’s my experience with this. Buds were all great just a bit over fertilized and needed a long cute to get rid of the chlorophyll.

Thanks dr. Any compliment from you makes me proud lol. Ya think the wipe would get deep in the pores and any cracks?. I have used bamboo in the past with no problems. Not saying if ya use them you will have problems hands down. Just like not baithing every time and changing your clothes before ya enter your garden. Maby not the first time maby not the thousandth time but eventually you will bring in something you dont want. Just saying if there are two kinds of stake available try to get a synthetic one.

Been using the same bamboo stakes for 4 years with no problems. I grow short plants so I need 2 foot stakes.

I cleaned them in isopropyl alcohol when I got them. And I wash in hot soapy water and wipe with alcohol after every harvest.

In fact I wipe everything going in and out of my rooms with alcohol. I keep it in a misting spray bottle.

I am not superstitious but knock on wood!

I have never sprayed for bugs or even seen more than 2 gnats on yellow sticky cards in rooms in 2 houses now.

I wash and change clothes before entering like you said too. Every time. And no outside plants or cuttings allowed.

Nice thread! I am going to read the rest now. :-)

That is the 1st time I have heard to much nitrogen may cause it. I have had them and definitely could have been giving them to much nitrogen at the time.

I could be wrong about the nitrogen but I have not seen it again. Or 13 or more leaf fingers since I lowered my feed more. And yield is still up so I assume overfeeding. Plants looked healthy like yours.
At the same time I had that, I also had the 13 blade leaves on many plants.
Here is a picture of a different type of mutation I have in this grow. It is the only mutation I have this grow.
EDIT: That is a picture from my last grow I have another one this grow.

crystals are mostly cloudy maby 5% amber 10% clear. harvesting tomorrow. they put on lots of weight this week getting major leanage.
Things i would change if i ran this strain and nutes again.......
obviously better training in veg knew it would be a problem as soon as i decided to move.
2 less mil/gal of grow a during transition. raised the lights another 6 inches when i turned off co2. starting to get some light fox-tailing.
started the tiresias mist a week earlier than i did and treated a larger cola.
after harvest adding co2 controller, larger dehumidifier (this one runs 24 7 and cant get the rh lower than 42%) and second flower light.

i will post dry weight in 2 weeks. besides that this journal is finished. i asked to keep posting the thread to a minimum on page one. im now open to questions and comments.

Sorry about that. I caught your thread in the new posts list and read it in reverse. Many of us do that.

Didn't mean to hijack, I also picked up on the last page. Thought it was cool to see so many bud in leaf leaves in one grow.

totals... Ok my total dry weight went down from my last harvest. Last harvest was 22oz premium bud no larf little over an oz of 120 micron hash
This harvest only 16 oz premium bud 1 oz of larf and 4 oz of foxtaily bud which went with the larf into the trim bin. 42 grams of 120 micron hash.
FINAL NOTES.... Dont underestimate the benifit of reflective walls bordering the garden. The difference in the hot spot under the light was much greater than ever before i believe this is the reason for the larf which there should be none with my past experience running a mainline.
I believe the foxtailing was caused by not raizing the up another 6 to 10 inches when i cut the co2.

it was respectable but still a bit of a disappointment but i learnt some and i should have expected yeld to go down after all it is a new environment, new medium and new nutrient. i guess i should have realized that there would be some "dialing in" but i was expecting more.
