@ttystikk

Since I modeled this after your setup what do you do with roots that are getting sucked back into the control bucket?

Last night I noticed a few strands coming thru into the control and I pulled them back, but they will inevitably get sucked back in. Obviousky I could just cut them, but i dont want to keep cutting them, back.

Are their strainer attachments on those bulkheads?

Day 26 - I realized I was off a couple days due to my rdwc leaking and I brought them back to the veg room until I fixed it two days later

Good bud development so far. Leaves look flawless

HI DUDE l have a problem
Forgive me for my poor English
May I ask How much time do you have to change the water?
To fill up? I get about a 3 gal a minute. 75 gal system. So about 25 minutes.

If you mean how often. I havent changed it,out yet since day 1 of flower same res. Ive added about 30-40gal back to the system.

Ill probably change it out if I notice issues

Just brought in the second generation from the cloner to buckets last night.

Harvest is in 3 weeks so im a little late, but maybe theyll fill the screens in that time.

They are smelling dank and packing on weight. Just ending week 6 in a few days and should be entering swell mode.

They reak of blueberries

hey guys. Great garden FirsttimeARE. i was hopping you can help me with a few questions. i am currently starting my first dwc project. been growing with soil for a while and just want to expand my favorite hobby. i have collected most of my equipment for the project but i was wondering if the 18 gallon rubbermaid tote i have is too big for the project. the dimensions are 23.5" x 17.5" x 15.5." The grow guide that i have refferenced is based on a 10 gallon tote. i had this container just sitting in storage so i cleaned it out and drilled holes in it. Is my container too big for proper plant production? Will i be wasting nutes due to unnecessary reservoir size? Should i just go out and buy the 10 gal instead?
also i have an eco plus dual outlet air pump at 126gph and 2 large air stones.
i have 4 inch net pots. approx 4 inch round and 4 inch deep

No thats not too big. I wouldn't use 4 plant sites per, bucket unless you running clones or feminized seeds.

I use 27gal totes per plant

The size is fine, I use 15 gal res and I am switching to 27 gal because PH fluctuates too much in a small res. It will cost me more in nutes but I don't mind.
