How are guys setting the power of these? Are you just using a smart wall plug that indicates how much current is passing through it?

Drivers are factory set to rated current
260w kit with qb304 has 240h-1050a
Factory set to 1050mA
U can increase to around 1150mA
135/260/320 named after kit wall wattage with driver factory set current.

that or airconditioning, or even a window fan drawing the warn air out, providing your using carbon filters in the tent/room. Don't know if just stirring it up with a fan will be enough, I'd think you'd still have a gradual temp rise

Are you asking how to physically change the wattage? If so, you take out the little rubber stopper on "A" version of drivers and adjust with a small screwdriver. If you are asking how to monitor the exact number of watts, then you buy a kil-a-wat meter and plug that into the wall and then plug your light into that to monitor the watts used.

Ok thanks guys, i have a 320H-C1400B... i know i need a potentiometer to dim it. I keep seeing things about dont use QBs from different production runs together. I planned to start with 2 and add 2 more later. Can i do that, or should i save up more and buy 4 at once?

What about a 3 light setup with my driver? Then i could just add another dual QB down the road with its own driver.
Ive got enough set aside for 2 QBs when they come ready, i could squeeze a 3rd one into the order if i had to.

HLG has all of your answers on their site. The tell you what drivers to use with which boards(288 or 304) and how many can be connected in either series or parallel. If you have not checked it out, I highly recommend that you do do .

For series wiring it is fine to add boards later and boards can have different voltages/batch/cct
For parallel it depends. It is best if all boards are from same spectrum and batch.
Different batch is currently not a big issue as all batches for last few months have been same best AZ voltage bin.
However voltages on future batches may be slightly different as we ramp up production. Samsung can change their spec anytime and may yield diodes with different voltages.

I'm loving the quantum boards right now going to outfit everything if this run turns out how I think it will: canopy management leaves a little to be desired but with work and kids it's hard to find the time but you get the picture

Quarks im aware of that, but i pulled the trigger on a driver before i saw the list, and mine isnt really on the list. But way at the bottom of said page it states the hlg-320h-C1400 can be used to make a parallel string of 2 boards in series....sorry im kinda confused on how i would wire 3 boards from mine, the C1400B
Just want to make sure i get everything out of my driver. Im kinda thinkin make a 3 board light and as time/money permits i will add one or maybe two more seperate dual QB lights on their own drivers.

finally building my light today and i guess it didn't come with wago connectors, i got 2 power cord joiners tho. can i buy wagos at home depot or somewhere? I really don't want to wait for amazon again

Hey robin I have 9 of the qb288 (54v )
When I wire these I'm going to use one MeanWell HLG-240H-54B I want to run the boards soft around 500 ma so I will want to wire these parrel positive to positive negative to negative across all 9 boards so they split the 4.5 amps Is that correct ?
