the only reason we are their is to promote corporate interest at the expense of the American and afghan people. it American corporations want to steal the wealth of other countries then they should hire their own mercenaries and pay for their private war. our tax dollars should be used to rebuild this country and help our own people

Samsung with the help Wall Street will power your world.

China could divert Island building monies if they thought it was really a threat. Instead of just playing with social media.

We are being milked by Wall Street.

Who won the Iraq war?

At least the ones that die volunteered to be cannon fodder. There is nothing more noble than dieing in an Afghan desert protecting your country's freedomz!

Hell no, stay the fuck out of goatfuckistan. There's literally no economic or foreign policy reason for our continued involvement in that backwards Hell on Earth. Let the Taliban have it back and GTFO.

How many will die? Do you believe for a moment they will tell us?

Honestly, what in this administration's behavior makes you think they will tell us the truth about either casualties or successes?

i did cast my vote for yes, not because we want to, but because we have to, considering i'm not privy to classified information.

i can't believe we've been there so long without them establishing a running government for them to takeover.

that's the mindblower.

what are we doing there?
90% of the world's opium.

it's not worth one more American life
And it never was. It was worth, to those that banked off it, money. Modern wars are fought over money, not morality. That's not to say there are no wars that are legitimately waged to protect human rights.

Without the capitalistic nature inherent in funding wars, meaning if you eliminate the ability for corporations or individuals to profit off of warfare, war wouldn't exist as we understand it today. Because people can make money off of war, war will always exist, regardless of diplomacy.

Practice what you preach, pada. Start by quiting your duct tape habit. Seriously, 3M has profited immensely from foreign wars. What about your silly video games? How many those companies produce games that groom young kids into tactical killing machines?

Follow the money. Most of these wars have been funded, or at least supported, on both sides by the same people. It's a win/win for the rich and powerful, why wouldn't they promote war?

Oh, and we'll be there as long as there is opium to protect for corporates interests.

Have you any idea the things we could achieve with even 1/2 our military budget for one single year?

Space travel, poverty reduction...all the shit that made America Great, not some Orange cuck in the White House's version.
Nearly 5 trillion dollars pissed away in these wars. Imagine what we could have done with that money?? We could have rebuilt the infrastructure of our entire country, given every citizen universal healthcare, and still had money left over.
