Tonight, Trump is going to have his 1st televised address to the nation since his inauguration, and the topic will be the longest running war in the history of the USA, Afghanistan.
This is the conflict that he has stated repeatedly over the years and in his campaign, was a waste of American lives and resources, and was a failure that Obama perpetuated.
But, and a big but, he has surrounded himself in his Cabinet with former generals that feel the necessity to continue the effort, and thwart the ambitions of the Taliban, and minimize the establishment of al-Qaeda and ISIS.
What do you think, should we stay, or should we go?
Is it a lost cause, and say fuck it, like the Russians did 35 years ago and the British 175 years ago and let them kill each other, or continue to try to bring a form of Western democracy to that shit hole that provides about 90% of the opium (heroin) to the world?
I say let them rot, it's not worth one more American life, and let them kill each other.
