My latest guitar build

I'm about half done with my latest guitar build. This time its my version of a Gibson Firebird. Like Johnny Winter plays. Anyway I'm about half done. I'll probably set the frets tomorrow. Here's some pics. I'm really looking forward to getting this one finished.
My next build will be what's called a TelePaul. Its a cross betwee a Telecaster and a Les Paul.

Have you tried Tonerider PU's. Fantastic tone, great price.

I wish I could play. I was learning a few years ago, but it's been a while. I forget the little bit I did know, but I am getting good at rock band.

mind if I ask a quick question in your thread? I have a 1975 epiphone acoustic, 25th anniversary. it's in good shape, except the neck is cracked. it's nice, and I'd like to get it fixed professionally, but I've been told it would only be worth fixing if I plan on keeping it for myself. worth anything? it was given to me once. I have 2 other guitars too, a hondo and a toyota. sound like car names. lol

btw, I love your handy work! amazing what people can make with a little hard work. I'm making hard wood kitchen cabinets by hand, but not as nice as your guitar.

i mostly stick to EMG pickups. they really do have the best sound ive heard in a pickup. seymour duncans would be my next pick then finalyl dimarzios

i'm rebuilding my gibson sg. funny story i bought it for five dollars and its been working since before i got it lol.

EMGs, my favorite PU's for any active system.

Cabinet building is how I started working with wood.

Tube amps are my other passion. I've rebuilt a number 50's and 60's Fender amps but have had the best time building custom kit amps like those from Allen amps. Allen Amplification - Kits Page
