Trump: Transgender people 'can't serve' in US military

"Much younger"...as in how old?

I used to believe in santa clause when I was much younger, but now I don't.

Wer'e not talking about her views when she was 16. Hillary didn't support gay marriage when she was 59, but now that she's 69 she does? Come on fog. Is it that difficult to admit that it was just a political calculation for her?
I was much older than 4 when I realized I had a problem with antipathy toward gay men. It was due to ignorance and the cultural climate around me. Also because I'm not at good working through and understanding issues involving culture, morality and what's important. This doesn't come naturally to a data driven person like me.

It is a fact that the one thing a person can never know is what another person is thinking. Since I can't know what Clinton was thinking, I reject your argument about her "political calculation". It's completely idiotic to tell me I have to adopt your unverifiable claim because, well, I don't know why. You failed to explain. I don't get the Santa Claus analogy.

Would the opposite be possible too? That she claimed to be against gay marriage as a political calculation?

There are plenty of examples in history where people in Clinton's age group said they had an epiphany and realize what they were doing is wrong. Also plenty of examples where we never really know why somebody changed their mind.

Sure, there are some issues that I understand changing a stance on. Her vote for the Iraq war for example. I didn't support it, but I understand making a judgement call on it at the time, and then changing her opinion on it after the fact once more information became available.

Equal rights for a group of people is not one of those judgement call issues. You either support equal rights for them or you don't. It's not a political football.

And yes, I have always supported marijuana legalization. Always will.
Learning IS changing.

You're wildly full of shit and stagnant as fuck in the personal development/self awareness dept.

The entire country (okay, not everybody) evolved on these issues very quickly over the past 15 years. As trite as it is to say, there's the pre-Will & Grace era and the post-Will & Grace era (I hated the show -- not sure if its cultural importance is exaggerated or not). The times sure did seem to change fast from there, though. Clinton certainly wouldn't be the only person I know of who evolved so fully on the issue over that period of time.

When I was much younger, I was a homophobe. By your standard, I'm lying to you when I now say I support gay rights.

People with an open mind can learn and change their views. Even your unjustified self confidence is curable.
I watched yours, now watch mine;

Jon Stewarts criticism of Hillary in this clip was that she's an empty suit. She has no courage of her convictions, and says things and takes stances on issues only because she thinks it's what people want to hear (exactly what I'm saying about her).

To which you replied....

One minute or less of Jon Stewart's spot on and accurate criticism of Clinton.....I agree with Jon Stewart about his criticism of Clinton.
Do you just like to hear yourself talk?

One minute or less of Jon Stewart's spot on and accurate criticism of Clinton -- a speech he made a year and a half ago that included his spot on take of Trump, "the man baby", lol. Anyway, one minute of insightful criticism of Clinton, followed by ten minutes of thought guides. First, I agree with Jon Stewart about his criticism of Clinton. I also agreed with Jon Stewart when he said in that speech he'd vote for anybody to avoid president Trump. I'll point out that mealy-mouth thought guide guy said nothing more in 10 minutes than what Stewart said in less than one. That you found it worth sharing make me embarrassed for you. That video was weak.

I'm pretty certain that Stewart is now not saying that the election of Trump was the best thing to have happened to the progressive movement, like you have said.

Your quote responding to Jon Stewart's criticism of Hillary being an empty suit that only says things because she believes that's what people want to hear was ... "spot on, I agree with Jon Stewart's accurate criticism of Hillary."

Have you changed your mind already? I mean, you were technically younger 2 days ago.

It wasn't more than a couple weeks ago you thought black voters didn't know what was in their own best interests and that they rejected Bernard because they are all homophobic and because he's Jewish.

You have had the benefit of near constant criticism since then so it is a strong possibility you've grown out of it already. Then again you've shown no indication that you've the wisdom and courage to grow.

Are you paraphrasing? A search of the quoted text comes up empty. I was just looking for it to get the context. By the way, Hillary Clinton is a politician? Get the fuck out!

You put text into the reply that didn't show unless I clicked on the video link. I just now saw it and was planning to reply again. Your reply was convenient.

In Jon Stewart's one minute of accurate and spot on criticism, he points out Clinton's weakness in presentation without getting into psycho-analysis like thought guide guy did later on in the video. What I heard from Jon was an accurate description of Clinton's presentation style and nothing more. We are left without an explanation by Jon. What you quoted and demonstrate by posting that piece of crap is you want to accept thought guide guy's long winded narrative after Jon's 1-minute clip. Thought guide guy says: shes a shape-shifter, flip-flopper, a narcissist, power hungry ("her main reason for running for prez), not doing the hard work. I mean, you took the bait of the video then swallowed every bit of propaganda, hook, link and sinker. There was nothing in Jon's statement to justify the rest of that thought guide's content. Furthermore, Jon never said empty suit. You did.

There are many possible reasons for Clinton's stiff presentation style. That video you placed in your reply contains a sinister reason, which is she is some sort of plastic sociopath who has no moral compass. Maybe so, but to believe that takes a leap of faith without considering better alternatives. There are other more likely reasons why Clinton has poor presentation skills. One is that she is just plain bad at it. This is the simplest one and requires nobody to tell me what to think.

I enjoyed Jon's clear description of what I had already seen other times where Clinton was forced to be spontaneous. Rather than convince me of "empty suit", the rest of the video explains quite clearly to me how Sandernistas became so unreasonable and radicalized. You guys are watching propaganda that preaches to you through your bias, not through facts. Clinton is a lot of things but she doesn't match the description of narcissist - sociopath. Trump, on the other hand by observing his behavior does.

LOL

I should have added context to the term shape-shifter. But it's funny how many people want to believe in Illuminati. I know, my denying there are illuminati now makes me suspect as being one or one of their adherents.

To add context in my reference, in that shitty bit of propaganda tty and st0 seem to like, the thought guide guy was calling her a shape shifter as an accusation of Clinton saying whatever the room wants to hear. As dag would say, "duh, she's a politician". Good heavens, we just found out there are politicians in politics.
