I got an idea, so the next time I wanna clone

I just buy a jug of RO water

stick the stone into the water

wrap it in a black trash bag

punch holes with screw driver

insert cuttings and let her rip for 10 days

I'd use tinfoil maybe to light proof the roots and to hold the stem vertical

but I'm currently air layering 2 cuttings on my df white widow

fingers crossed

I made a bubble cloner using an aluminium roasting tray. I cut holes in the lid that the small ends of coffee cups would fit in. I cut down the cups to about an inch and punched a hole in the bottom for the cutting to go through. When it was time to take them out, you just break up the cup. Roots don't have to be pulled through anything.

Ok, fellow cultivators, We made this in courtesy of #frozenchozen and havent cloned any other way since. "Simply" Amazing. Been using this little cloner exclusively and have had 0 casualties (84-0). If your one of the many who have problems cloning THIS IS IT! It clones in as little as 5 days but can take up to 12. You must use NOTHING BUT DISTILLED or R/O WATER ONLY! No additives are needed, keep in a cool place w/in direct sunlight. Thanks FrozenChozen.

yes we have 2 cloners on side of grow area about 7 ft from edge of light and they root in about 12 days everytime but we use tap water and add in 1 ml of clear rez and 1 ml of KLN and roots explode.

We started off adding KLN and noticed ph fluctuation so we took KLN out of the equation and whalah, no more ph fluctuation. Thanks for the info. However im going to add the KLN as soon as we see roots this time...

We never check ours for ph. I bet it could use a few drops of ph down to stabilize it. good point. Could even cut a few days off root time.

Indeed you will. the more we use it the more efficient it becomes. A lot of people dnt know but the clones will not root unless all traces of nitrogen have dispersed.(hence, why they root quicker when you first start to flower) Should be common knowledge around here but..... Once you add any chemical to the water youll start having issues with ph fluctuation. Distilled water is best for this mini cloner!

After a few months of it sitting in my desk drawer, I finally remembered to put my hole saw together. Got six 3" holes cut in the lid of a 5 gallon bucket. Everything else is ready, except my plants need to grow a little more before I start cutting on them. Save the cut out parts for covering any holes not in use.

Can anyone tell me why one of my airstones won't make decent bubblesView attachment 3934744 View attachment 3934745
how big of pump do you have? also those cheap ass airstones are junk, go buy a real one and have just 1 in there. remove the airstones and see how much air comes out. then if not much your bladder paddles on the air pump need replaced.also put all lines in a sink and see if you see air leaks with sink full of water or use a tote 1/3 full. troubleshoot it and buy better air stones those are cheap ones that restrict air.

Well, I mean the whole point of this thing was for an under $20 cloner. I'll try another set of stones and I'll check the tubing for leaks. Thanks
