Yeah take a picture and post it so we can take a look. I let my seed sprout a little before I put the jiffy in the hydroton, you can see about how big it was before it went into the hydroton if you look at my second post. Mine looked a little funny for a few days and then it straightened up and everything seems normal.

off to a good start johnnygrows.

if you have some or can get some, a humidity dome that would fit over those net pots would help a bunch when they are small like that. or if you can your humidity way up in your tent/room to like 70% with a humidifier

I feel ya man....the only reason I didn't leave that in a seedling dome is its an auto flower so the less those roots get disturbed the better they shock so easy especially if it's cause the roots get disturbed....I don't think putting a dome on the bucket would help because of the 65 degree water bubbling around just below

Not much to post lately, Kandy is just doing her thing. The roots are finally taking off and she is getting a few more sets of leaves. I went before work to take a picture and this is how she sits this morning. I know someone is going to say my roots have problems but the last grow I had the same issue, they are not slimy but almost discolored. When I do my reservoir change I take them and dip them in ph'd water and they get right back to white. Hasn't seemed to be a problem but maybe there is something I can do to stop this.
Anyway here are a few pictures, she is nice and green and looks healthy. I have the feeling that Kandy is going to be a squatty little plant but I guess we will just have to wait and see :weed:

Haha yeah I had one of them do that, I figured by the time it switched to flower it would be 3" tall  so it got kicked to the curb.

I have yet to have a problem with the roots breaking through the jiffy lining but who knows.
What light schedule are you on? Do you pour water over the hydroton daily to keep them nice and wet? Not sure if you are supposed to but I always have and have yet to experience any negatives from it.

I am at around 18 days from when I placed it in the napkin to sprout the seed.

I figured I'd run the autos at a 20/4 light cycle.......even the shittest of the shit ties led lights would grow a plant better than what this lil fucker after 7 days.... if these things flour at around 3 weeks like you said I'll be flowering a three to four inch plant at this rate

I am not sure when it will flower. Just give it another week, keep the water ph'd and talk nice to her, inner she will take off man. Mine just barely started taking off. It is probably spending time building its root system. Don't give up on her yet man

Brother when I'm done with a chic....I'm done with her......I got another one germinating as we speak ......what I'm gunna do this time instead of use them fuckin jiffy joints is, I cut a plug maybe a little bigger than a expanded jiffy joint out of a rockwool cube it is soaking in PH 5.8 RO water with just one drop of rapid start...soon as I see roots come out the bottom I'm putting it straight in the hydroton

I was just checking ph and noticed roots hanging from underneath the net pot finally so I'll keep her Rollin for now....since I notied the one little root sticking through this morning now there's multiples and some that even touch water...now I got that other one germinating and only have one bucket system cause this is my first DWC with autoflower so o guess I'll throw it in a 3 gallon smart pot with some coco....that's all I got right now

So I am up to 3/4 strength nutes and Kandy seems to be responding pretty well. I think next week when I change the reservoir I will bump it up to full strength.
As your reading this if you hear me talk about something that you don't agree with please chime in, I am wanting to hear all the different techniques people are using and would love to perfect what I am doing. Anyway here are a few pictures of what she looked like this morning. I hope that she will get some vertical growth here soon but who knows, being an auto I guess I will just wait to see what I can get out of her.

only thing i would suggest is dont' be tempted to think more nutes=better. what ppmEC are you at? autos aren't usually heavy feeders.

what light cycle?

if you really want to challenge yourself, try to do a dwc grow from start to finish without getting any nute burn/tips turning brown. it's not easy.
