one gallon big enough for SOG?

thinking about using half my tent for a 16 plant sog, think these would be big enough?

Thats for a dirt set up
I found the rockwool mini cubes and a flood and drain set up grow a lot bigger and faster than dirt,1 gallon works in mini cubes,the roots just keep growing out the bottom of the pots
I am using 1 bottle of nutes in veg at the moment(green and growing like crazy)FloraNovaBloom

i'm growing in coco or hempy buckets right now, don't have the room for a hydro setup, hardly got the room for what i have now.
they have 2 gallon bags as well, but i could only use 12 instead of 16 of the gallons.

You would be better off getting 1gal smart pots or geo pots etc... Still inexpensive and you don't need to worry about getting rootbound.

i already have 2 gallon smart pots but i'd only be able to put 9 of them in the area i have to use...i've not done a sog before, so i'm not sure if 9 plants would be worth it. they have 2 gallon square bags that i could get 12 of in the same space. the thought with the 1 gal bags was that i could fit 16 of them inthe space i have, but if 1 gal is too small and will cause root issues 12 2 gallons would do...i think

The only problem I have with less than 2.5 gallon pots, especially only one gallon pots, on a soil grow is that the nutrient levels can change so very quickly when you get into flower mode and you get a growth spurt.

The nutrients can be sucked completely out very quickly and in contrast to that it's very easy to overdo it trying to make up the shortfall.

If you stay REALLY on top of it, you can do fine in one gallon pots, no problem. You drop the ball, get lazy and miss one feeding though and the whole thing can go tits up very, very quickly and you'll wind up chasing problems the whole way.

i was thinking coco, and i already water every day, and look at things, and try not to love them to death, george.
but unless someone says something to convince me otherwise, i'm going with 12 of the 2 gallon bags. got a white widow thats gonna have a load of clones on her, may just make her a mama for a while and run 3 or 4 sets of 12 through quick

The 2 gallon bags sounds really good. That wouldn't be a problem at all I don't think. It's just the one gallon ones I'd be very concerned with.
