how did you align the nuts? was it hard to place them properly?

No there is a small spring on the t nut itself that holds it in place. It saves you from getting pissed off and throwing shit.

Oh damn man. I use 8 @65 watts a piece in a 4x4 & it's more than enough you're gonna be double. Your ppfd might even be TOO much. What amperage are you running those again?

Only running at 1050ma max, so 36w per cob, for my current set up. Gives me scope to increase the power in the future though, when i move to bigger premesis.

Hi guys! I`m an ex HPS-grower that recently finished my first DIY LED project. Thanks to all the guys who innovate and spread the knowledge!
My setup was built for a wardrobe closet with a 50 cm x 90 cm area. I wanted to build two panels, each covering half the grow space.
Each panel is running 4 x CXB3590 3500K CD-bin , Meanwell HLG 185h C1400a driver and Arctic Cooling Alpine 11 pro CPU coolers.
My first build wasn't really a panel, as I wanted to try hanging each COB on individual hangers. This was a very flexible setup, but I didn`t like the way I did the wiring. This will be changed in the near future.
After a month or so it was time to build the next panel. This time I wanted to build a frame for the COBs, which is a solution I`m far happier with. The wiring is much tidier, and it is easier to work with.
It`s easy to see why I like the solution on the left hand side better:
8 cobs + fans = 480W
I moved the drivers outside of the cab for better heat management, and to be able to dim them with minimum hassle.
Putting them to work:
I`m doing a perpetual grow where I`ll harvest from one panel (200w) every month. I love the lights so far, even though I`ve been growing small plants. Time to ramp it up and see what I can get out of my tiny stealth grow

, really nice and clean built. Like your lights too, the 1st build where each cob hang individual is pretty cool

Or even better, just hang it from each individual corner. Use 4 rope ratchets. Vuah-Lah.
You'll gain an entire foot.

Thanks for the feedback, guys! The chains on the framed panel is just a temporary solution, and will be changed for individual ratchets on each corner like you suggested. The plants were thrown into flower early, so they haven`t really grown tall enough for this to be a problem. Hopefully this will change soon
I think the filter is made by Prima Klima. I'm not sure though, as I got it from a friend who never got around to use it. It is rated for 1000m3 / hour, while my fan is rated for 555m3 / hour, so it`s a bit overkill.

My main vegging space, 50x50 cm, running a 6000K china cob with 1 or 2 x 50w drivers depending on plant height and room temperature.
Mothers and small plants. One 3000K 100W china cob running at 50W, one 6500K 50W china cob running at 25W. The last lamp is also used for rooting clones

Also rocking the Far Reds lights out 15 mins..
Left side of Grow Room CXB3590 3500k
Right Side--CXB3590s 3000k (ALL Top Bins)
also added IRs,UVAs,and Few Royal Blues ,to 1- 3000k
And Deep Reds and Royal Blues,and some 390nm on other 3000k
Love the pics and results im seeing round here,,,much love and peace to all,,,stay green

haha thts whats up brother..how ya liking the Cob ride? I must say i am impressed so far..def different with the feeding requirements but i am diggin them..since our lights are damn near twins,,tht means i know how much ur pockets felt the purchase and switch to DIY lol
