Mine are from Ace Seeds.

I tried Ace's Purple Haze but Mohican and FLKeys really rocked
that when I give it to them.

I also got Golden Tiger from Ace in the tent right now. I started a tiny
plant to see it I can keep it in a tent.

Good luck!

We'll have to compare Malawi in a few months. The Zamaldelica I've got going are the first ACE seed I've tried. Their list of sativa and sativa dom strains may force me to buy more seeds. The Bangi Haze really intrigues me for some reason.

I went to Ace for the Old Timer's Haze. I was just blown away
by the idea of a saved breed. :0)

I will have to try that one again. The first was female, but I had
no idea how to deal with it and it did not go well. (20 weeks!)

I will share the good news when I have some. :0)

Happy Hump Day, 4/20/16!

And what a lovely 420 it is.

To sort of quote a line from a great movie!

"I love the smell of Exodus Cheese in the morning!"

Hempy's should be watered daily to a 30% runoff. You should at least go back and read the beginning of this tread, it will give you valuable info.
That is my suggestion, they will pick back up. You are treating them like dirt grow, it is a hydroponic grow and should be watered every day, and possibly twice when you get into flower.

Generally speaking, hempy's don't need to be watered daily unless the plant is actually drinking that much. I use 5 gallon buckets and during veg while under a 250w T-5 I water every 3-4 days. Once the HPS kicks on during flowering and increases the rate of respiration in the plant, I water every 2-3 days. At 4+ weeks flower, the plant requires almost daily waterings. In the last 2 weeks of flower watering begins daily to keep up with the plant's rate of respiration. I'm trying 100% perlite this grow due to vermiculite causing complications last grow, so we'll see if the rate of watering increases.

Does anyone measure ppm's coming out of their hempy as a guide as to whether they need more or less? Mine is coming out with roughly 50ppm less than what I am putting in the day before. Should I up the ppm of nutes?

Sorry if this has been covered before.
I have, but I most certainly don't use that number to determine how strong I mix my nutrients. I mix my nutrients based on how large the plant is and what stage of growth I'm in. The bigger the plant, the more nutrients she'll need to get the job done. Just don't over do it. And remember, most nutrient companies feeding charts are a complete joke. I hear about people running 1200PPM circulating hydro systems and I laugh. My PPM never breaches 400 and this is a link from my last grow during flower.

I definitely agree on the ppm thing, i ended up finding out that last grow my ppms were too high (300 on .5 scale) and that was causing my problems. The daily waterings allowed me to remove another variable and made narrowing things down easier. I ended up finishing it out at 220 ppms for the last 3 weeks and 100 for the last 3 days.

I'm attempting my first hempy scrog (diy pro scrogger I built). I've got quality genetics on the way but some decent bag seed in rock wool under t5's now. Can't wait to show off what I've been doing!!! I look forward to your teachings new friends!!!

So I've just purchased a meter and started some seedlings off last night (1/4 strength nutes, fox farm) anyway. Exactly what is the water, feeding, flushing schedule. I know I don't feed till 30% run off every time, or every 2-3 days. This is my first go at passive hydroponics any feeding aDvice appreciated.
-smoke it like you grew it!! Your telling me the fox farms ppm numbers are wrong posted on their feeding charts??? Wtf???

Well, its been a while since I have posted anything in this Forum, so I thought I would show one of my recent Hempy Grows. This is Pineapple Express In a Coco/Perlite Mix (just running all perlite now) in 2 Gallon Food Grade Containers. 4 Plants yields me 1.5lbs. under 600 watts with 1000ppm of CO2 in a sealed room. I Feed Every Morning, and that's about it.. ;-)

Do you feed your nutrient solution every morning? Never any plain RO/distilled water?

i'm not a fox farms nutrient guy, and have heard a lot of good and bad things (mostly bad). What are you using as your medium and do you have something different for reservoir? How big of a container do you have this in?

Basically the concept is to have a constant reservoir with all the nutes for your plant to uptake. The reason why you water to 20-30% runoff is to help remove the previous reservoir nutrient solution with the fresh - your flush. Depending on the medium you have the plant in above the reservoir, you also have some nutrient solution in there in case your reservoir runs dry. However, relying on that is not best practice.

If you need further explanation or any help, just let us know and we'll set you straight like everyone else did for us. Maybe start a journal and then just post major updates here....?

oh if love to post pics and all but a little nervous due to legalities for me. I'm guessing you guys use a disposable camera and upload pics (no digital footprint from your device?) anyway 1%vermiculite/3%perlite in 2 or 3 gal hempy buckets w/ a homemade scrogger. I've got seedlings under t5's in rock wool as the buckets await. I've also got same set up outdoors in a 5 gal bucket (Rome Tomatoes) More experience to be obtain flushing, feeding ect.... Honestly this hobbie is the breath of fresh air I need!!!! Thanks for the good inviting vibes. I guess my I need to know how to secure my anonymity then bring you into my green house (aka my wife's named it the $$pit) lol

Nah, no throw away cameras. Just turn geotagging off if you take pictures with a digital camera or smart phone.

So I just switched to hempy buckets from soil. And all my plants seem to be a lot more yellow to light green. Any ideas. Using simple path nutes. 100% perlite. 4 gal pails, drain hole is about 2 in up from bottom
