I'm currently using 2/3 bloom and 1/3 all purpose. I just began wk 4. They look amazing, not one complaint.

I mix about 4gal at a time. My water is 7.3pH and 380ppm. I mix one level tsp of 16-16-16 and two level tsp of 3-20-20 and my water comes to 6.8pH and 1050 ppm. Bam, they love it. They get that every other day or so, with the occasional watering in between. Super easy I tell ya
When I would use it I would give them half bloom and half veg till week 3. I would use one heaping spoon full per gallon.. then I would go 3 bloom 2 veg week 4 (I mix 5 gallons at a time) week 5 is 4 tbs of bloom 1 of veg.. week 6 till harvest all bloom at 1 heaping tbs per gallon..

Have you measured the ppms at that strength? When I started using it as recommended doses the ppms would be at 2000+, but my week water starts at 400. I didn't notice any detriment to the plants but I brought it way down just for my own comfort levels.

I know a guy that uses the bloom straight through, all the way through flower. I wasn't sure if that would be enough nitrogen for mine, so I've been mixing it a little bit with the all purpose.

I think that the fact that we are all using the same formulas in different ratios goes to show the strength of the nutrient base. Maxsea is just great stuff!

Na I didn't check. . I only fed once a week. With a watering or two in between. Never had a problem always lush green... Cal mag is important though.. probably more for the mag then the cal.

did years of testing nutrients in hydro, best yield to cost ratio hands down go with general hydroponics maxi grow, maxi bloom.. great stand alone nutrients for beginers to experts, great yields, just do a good 3-5 day flush at finish...

believe it or not, even tho its a cheap nutrient it stood up to serious testing against the higher priced nutrients.. in my tests advanced came in 4th place under 1st gh nova, 2nd foiliar pro, and 3rd plant life 3 part,,? but in my water those wer the real results after years of side by side tests in 4x4 f&d tables...
Don't know if it's the best. I use Maxibloom in the Lucas Formula, it's cheap, easy and works.

Thinking about going organic tho.

Don't go with mbferts.com, I ordered 5 products from them and only 4 came in. I emailed them about there mistake of not sending me what I paid for and they spat in my face. There an untrustworthy nutrients dealer. The Stretch Stopper I ordered and paid for never came in the mail, a value of $30. They refused to correct there mistake and called me liar. I'll stick with bulk of it means I don't have to deal with there I professionalism and it was all over a $30 Stretch Stopper, what business does that. It would have been so easy for them to own there mistake. They ripped me off.

I use fox farm products including there soil, is there a reason you didn't like it? It's pretty cheap too

Yara kristalon, powerfull, cheap, effective, long lasting, usefull in coco, soil, very good result outdoors and indoors. Not suitable in hydro, cause very problems don't try.

There all relatively cheap until your setup and system gets bigger. The cheapest bottle bases your going to find are Botanicare CNS17 Ionic Grow and Bloom and Dynagro. The cheapest after that is going to be your powders. Maxi and Jack Peters is the cheapest short of mixing your own salts from big bags from actual Ag companies. Which is what all these other brands do really. Except they buy huge amounts by the pallet and truckloads full and get the salts for extremely cheap. The markup on ,for example, General Hydroponics products is extremely obscene. Look into the mark up on there pH adjusters if you really wanna be nauseated. Its like 40000% or some shit.

We made Larry Brooke ( FORMER GH OWNER)a very very wealthy man (back in the day for alot of growers the feeling was mutual). Literally flew off on a jet airliner into the sunset after selling out to a miracle gro subsidiary. He said in a short interview that his products and everyone elses wiill no be used as much as cannabis becomes legal and moves outdoors and in greenhouses where it belongs....and hes rite. So he sold the company and got the hell out. GH....one of the early players in the industry. Wow.

The hobby days and hobby "industry" are drawing to a close very soon. It will shrink considerably once cannbis becomes fully legal and gets to some semblance of a true market price.

The fact that even hobbyists, basement growers, and small warehouse cultivators are even taking a look at Haifa and Yara (big ag fertilizer salt manufacturer's) should say alot about the market and industry as a whole and where its future is heading towards.

If you're going for organic, I really like Nature's Care Organic, Miracle Gro's natural organic line. Bone meal and blood meal for amendments and Vegetable, Fruit, and Flower food for nutes.

Nature's Care is an exception of the Miracle Gro family. Approach totally differently than standard MG. The plants love it and the soil is half as hot as FFOF. Just sayin'.

I'm not saying mg is bad I'm not saying it's good either I was simply saying that I have found a fertilizer that Imo is the best on the market but for the record I have about 5 plants in mg mc soil with no ill affects I like to believe if you can read your plants soil is soil mg fox roots all the same as long as you know what your doing they have been in veg for a month and a half and they just started getting a light dose of precision hydro 20-20-20 and not even the slightest burn as far as my bloom fertilizer that's the real secret
