Bonjour
It would great with 8 cxb3590 3500ºk 36V cd @700mA 220w 64% efficiency...150gr per plant!

I have 2 Area 51 RW-75's (150W combined) and I wanted to add a little power (250< watts < 300). basically the same idea. I have two large water cooled aluminum plates each will have four COBs connected to them. I like to think each one will be responsible for a quarter of the area. Focus/penetration takes precedence over a larger footprint.

I guess you should aim for vero29 if you want to run your cob at 2100mA...do the same as A51 but in diy!

Please don't kill me... Haha. I've looked through seveal pages and can't seem to find a solid solution as to where exactly to get these cob holders at a decent price. Where are you sourcing your cobs? Especially growmau5. I watched his 6 part series and would really love to get the ideal metal chip lol holders used in it.

I am however having a very hard time finding any angelina reflectors for cheap that fit onto the ideal chip lok holders that include the lends and the white ring that holds it on. There's those little "L" shape hooks that you just twist onto the reflector. I can't find a good source. Does anyone know where to get these.

Can you show me a picture of a well grown plant under an apachee, area 51, any other rebadged chinese "american `~assembled~" vs a 80% cheaper mars hydro cob please? I want to know why 8 pages are taking up the 1 thousand USD difference.

Whats this 1k look like? Please don't quote or respond if you don't have a 1k USD photo.

*****If you do; consider yourself realized as just wasting 5 minutes thinking of ways to explain in statistics and numbers why something is better(heresay) ~ or go personal which ... is sad.

when results, punch and the knockout is what counts. Photo please. :bigjoint:

Is there any solderless cob holder for cxb3590 that can be used for thermal paste and kapton tape method ? Would like to skip soldering part but I dont mind using the kapton tape. Thanks

Indeed it's mica ....
Are they rigid enough ?

(Careful do not use excess force,if you try
to bend ..Mica breaks quite easily )
Mica is a very interesting material. I found a very old abandoned smelter while hiking in the south western part of New Mexico that had windows made from mica.... :)
