anzo had several warnings stacked up on him, that means he went through discouraged user mode, and he was warned several times over behaviour probably like "name calling, " kinda shit. (too lazy to look through this account right now)
so like..i mean you know and are aware when things are against rules.

in terms of not anzo and just regular modding b/s and chit chatting for hell of it sake cause im feeling chatty this morning
everyone here knows if you do something wrong and im the mod who catches you i will pm you or ask you to stop and tell you why.

and i get it when users say well you dont catch everyone, or you dont reprimanded everyone
but the truth is we do a lot of modding, and alot of users that are claimed to get free passes dont. and they get put on slow down mode too, and they get on their last legs too
users just dont see it happen.

and than of course because we only have a limited number of mod staff of course shit slips by us. and i know its not an excuse and people say than well just add more staff
we tried that, and they lingered out, they didnt follow the modding rules, or they chose not to do it anymore. and no matter how many mods we add something will ALWAYS slip by us we have so many users

Some new members don't know how we play, but want all the info handed to them..and they are right the whole way through being combative. That shit gets annoying real fast! To loose a source of knowledge over someone learning how to earn their stripes around here is a real shame.

i saw one guy on here i shit oyu not

he made this HUGE thread about how members here are mean to the newbies when they ask questions that have been answered over and over again
you know the questions that literally are answered right on the same page but the newbie didnt take 2 shakes of a lambs tail to look around first

so this guy goes on about how were all pretentious and we dont help people and if we dont like it we should just not respond

so far ive have found this guy being an asshole to newbies doing the exact same thing but with name calling, a few times now right after he made that thread
only took him what maybe a week before he had done exactly what he was upset with us doing lol

It does get old, and i'm probably the most mellow person on this site.

Some times the crown lay heavy.. Gaining experience on here through others mistakes coupled with real life learning can be leave you feeling pretty high and mighty pretty fast.

Dude my check engine light had been on on my 96 Ranger for a decade or so. I replaced the spark plugs once. A couple of new batteries and a few other little tweaks here and their. Pretty regular on the oil changes. I think the head gasket leaks. I see antifreeze trails on the block. 4.0 I'm thinking the aluminum head may be warped. I dunno. I add antifreeze maybe twice a year. It takes almost the whole gallon. I'm pretty sure it's always low. Or dry. I've got maybe 30-40k on the air filter and probably more than a 100k on the fuel filter.

Anyway. I'm pretty sure the check engine fault are the pre and post oxy sensors. That's like $70 a piece for 4 of them on a 4.0 so eff that noise. It still starts even in the cold by simply turning the key.

The situation. So the check engine light finally went out maybe 6 months ago. I didn't do nothing? Do you think I should replace the check engine light? I really don't want to put $300 worth of oxygen sensors on it. No mech other than myself has ever touched this thing.

well, if you aren't in a "smog" state you could do nothing, but it sorta isn't the wisest..
Car problems are like dental/health/IRS issues..
They get only more expensive and more painful as time goes..
Also with the light burned out you won't know if you have other issues going on.
Annnd furthermore if they are indeed o2 sensors you want to replace those before they burn out your catalysts (four of them $$$) so if your o2s aren't working they will cause your car to run failsafe... which means RICH... which means catalyst increased temps..
you should do your fuel filter every 20k
Can burn out the fuel pump if it gets clogged.
Also if your oil cap has greenish whitish froth on the underside of it, that's where the coolant is going.
OR it could be getting consumed, and damaging your o2 sensors.
ethylene glycol is bad for o2 sensors
