1st Grow - Cali Lightworks Solarflare 220W LED, Secret Jardin DS90II 3x3x5

yeah so this is my first grow, I have a California Lighworks Solarflare 220w LED Full Cycle:https://www.1000bulbs.com/product/9...BaseShopping&gclid=CJ_7g7fD3MMCFZKGaQodVKAA9A

I am growing seeds from 2 hybrids which are PCKxSour Grapes, and also PCKxGods Gift seeds (PCK was father in both crosses). I also believe there may be a couple complete randoms in the mix. Asof this moment i have 16 plants in veg. stage. 6 are 3weeks old from seed and the other 10 are 12 days old from seed.The seeds are mostly indica which is def. showing in the fat leafs they are producing The reason i germinated so many is because i was told that about 3/4 will end up being male with these specific seeds. so if that is true than i will end up with 4 females which is exactly what i want.

Not trying to hate or anything because I LOVE clw and they dont get that much love here... But just for some comparison... I used to grow six plants under my ss440... I now grow two in that same size tent....Not saying it cant be done... But you might need a lil more power than that light.. Anyway what a great start to a first grow brother! Keep at it!

ya my plan is to use the 220 and this 3x3 for vegging and maybe upgrade to the 440
..the seeds i was told are only 1/4 female thats why i have so many..im expecting a lot of males

along with 2 Black star 180's in a 48 inches x 24 inches and usually run 3 females and I personally think that I need less space or more light ......does that make sense ?

i am having to put into flower march 1st because im moving at the end of may so im going to grow as many as there are females, and after i move im going to use this set up just for veg and get a good flower room set up

from what i hear its hard to fill a 3x3 with the 220....its really made to flower in a 2x2 space. how good are those black stars? i would think with 2 180s and the 220 you should be able to fill your space....i dunno tho

I added the CLW last year. I've got one grow under my belt with all three......I may could have reconfigured my room to use all 3 more efficiently..... But I didn't I'm getting ready to fire everything back up under different conditions .
The black stars were my first foray into the world of LED growing and I must say I was impressed with their performance. I did experience some minor problems but I worked thru them at present I have 2 led'd out on one light and a cooling fan giving me some problems but they ran everyday for over a year and I did 2 grows with super sour 60's auto's in which I ran the lights 24/7. So for the money I paid and the results I've attained I think they were a good investment.

the CLW are under warranty for 3 years ...not sure bout the black stars tho, maybe you can get them fixed for free??

just an update...i have to put them in flower no later than march 1s..t so they only have a few days left of vegging...wish i had more time but i think the size of most of them is good to flower (majority are 8-10in)

saw my first female after 3 days of 12/12..no others have shown yet but i see a couple others that look promising.. cant wait to clear out the males..my ladies are fighting for space in my little tent!
