Detroit? No offense but what reality are you in where you need to shot someone raping "your woman"?
And I'm not against guns, use to have one, and I do see the enjoyment of it from a hobby. Shit, my girlfriend is a better shot than i. Not having a gun doesn't make one "a bitch". It's a false sense of security. Even if I'm staring down the barrel of a gun and I have one, it's too late.
You also realize most rapes are done by friends and acquaintances?
The mans got a point.@TonightYou ok forget the rape you want realistc
theres a hurricane and fema cant do shit
Looters and bandits are out
katrina ring a bell?
In Alaska it's illegal to NOT own a gun.Na im in alaska where we are very pro gun lol
I can respect that. I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to any of my loved onesI think thats part of it after you have kids and a wife
as caveman as it sounds you have to become hunter and protector
Maybe it's just that you get used to the environment. I've lived in Southeast San Diego, Eastside Long Beach, West Oakland etc. Not exactly the land of picket fences. I visited an old gf's family years ago in Michigan. Del Ray area I think? Livernoise st. Anyway, I've never actually been scared walking down a street until then. Large groups of "thuggy" lookin folks just hanging around everywhere. When you'd walk towards them they would all fan out so there was no way to walk "around" them. Never felt like I was being eyed as a piece of steak before.Detroit really isn't that bad. It has its spots but I've been going down there since I was 15 for shows, weird house parties, illegal bars/after hours venues, flop houses, drug houses and even just friends houses. In not one instance have I needed a gun. If someone wants my car, wallet, whatever take it. Not worth losing my life over property. I can always get it back
The government actually blocked aid from getting to people during Katrina.@TonightYou ok forget the rape you want realistc

Perhaps it is unfamiliarity. I'm as white as snow, and I've never had a problem.Maybe it's just that you get used to the environment. I had a cheap screenprinted Tshirt on one day and as I walked past some dude he goes "look at this mafucka with his fancy ass mafuckin shirt on!" then scowled at me. What?
Like I said maybe it's just that i was so far from home also. Unfamiliar territory.
That was handled so poorly. People today are still trying to settle shit over that hurricaneThe government actually blocked aid from getting to people during Katrina.
I remember Wal Mart had trucks full of bottled water... stopped and held by FEMA for an extended period despite people really needing said water.
Ahhh....I love nostalgia ! The good old days, where you could count on no physical harm coming if you just played along nicely and give the thugs everything they want. It was like a mugger / mugee unwritten code.If someone wants my car, wallet, whatever take it. Not worth losing my life over property. I can always get it back

Detroit is a shit hole, and based upon statistics is one of the more dangerous places in the country. I avoid going downtown unless it's for a Lions/Tigers/Red Wings game or something of that nature. Even then my head is always on a swivel.Perhaps it is unfamiliarity. I'm as white as snow, and I've never had a problem.
One thing I do everywhere I go is acknowledge people. I've had people say shit, but ya just brush it off. Shit, I remember a dude didn't want me parking in front of his street. Obviously I could have been a smart ass, but fuck it, I'll just move a house down. It ain't no thing and I'm not one to need to escalate things unless I absolutely need to.
Don't get me wrong, I've had situations where I've been uncomfortable, but I always try to also know my outs.
I enjoyed my visit to Cali. Really like Long Beach
