Not that it's the "ideal" living conditions, but there are plenty of non-criminals out there who have it worse off...I agree with you, there's definitely a line that shouldn't be crossed in criminal punishments, but also crimes that cannot be truly served justice w.o crossing that line. One of my close family members who is now 9 years old (female), was sexually abused by a 74 year old custodian that worked at her school. That dude got out in a year. She's traumatized for life...fair? Justice? Nah...

Yeah they actually protect them here too, often separated from general population...sad cuz I'd throw them fuckers right in the mix and let them get what's coming..When other prisoners / criminals is the only shot at some true justice, the systems broken IMO.

For everyone not trolling, does religion play a part in your opinion on what's considered "humane" execution? Do you think you could have developed the same morales without your religion? I happen to be athiest, but find religion does play some good roles in the world - even if they're trumped by many negatives.

I believe it's fiction because it's made up of parts from previous fictional religions, and it's revised with the times to accomadate new knowledge that contradicts it...couple more reasons, but I really dont want to argue about religions so I'll stop here.
