12/12 from clone coco test plant...

I wanted to try out coco so I got some, but I was afraid to use it...so it sat there...but I knew I wanted to try it, and when I took clones I had a few too many as usual...I usually throw out the ones I don't want to keep, but this little one was saved from the compost to become my coco test...This clone was a 4-6 in clone that was cloned in a cloner and moved to the coco after 4 days in the cloner, so it was just starting to get it's first stringy roots...anyway put it in the coco and it has done great. I keep talking about how awesome I think it is...so it is time to share the results I am so blown away by...

I am not sure what you can tell in the pics, but let me get my measuring strip...Alright...the pot is a plain black nursery pot that is 6.5 in across the top, and 6.5 in tall...the plant itself is 16in tall from the top of the coco to the top of the plant...and there isn't a spot that isn't just part of a cola...that is what I think makes it looks so neat...it is like a took a cola off of another plant and just stuck it in the ground...this has by far been the easiest plant to grow so far when it comes to watering and feeding...I really would like to figure out a few strains I am happy with and just keep them going and use 12/12 from clone...if you do a clone a week then after 8-9 weeks I would be able to start adding a plant and harvesting a plant...I have no idea how much is on it...I feel like 3/4 oz - 1 oz...anyone else have any projections?

We can have a contest... Whoever guesses the right weight gets the knowledge that they guessed right...and I will weigh it wet, and then we can guess at what it will weigh dry...I am hoping it will weigh 2-3 oz wet...that way I get an oz dry...it might not even be that much though...who knows...it looks great though...the Critical + is a super frosty plant anyway, but it seems that the larger plants of the same strain don't bulk up the way this little one has...I just harvested one a week ago or more and it is still hanging, It had 2 identical colas...neither one as thick as this one...so we'll see...I am excited about trimming it...I forecast it will take 10-15 minutes...lol

Anyway here it is...so now when I mention that someone should give coco with canna nutes a try, or that they should 12/12 a clone this is the one I proceed to talk about...it is the first...of many more to come...as soon as I can get all these bigger plants sexed and trained and cloned and all that...no more vegging for me I don't think...so much easier to deal with a tiny plant...and no worries that the stretch will overgrow the tent...anyway this is it...

The strain is Dinafem's Critical + and I do notice that I have to add a LOT of perlite to the coco...but I don't mind...I am thinking of trying just perlite in a few grows...I mean you can reuse it infinitely and it is cheap to start off with..

Well now I know too that it is awesome...and easy once the plants are large enough to have at least 2 tsps of A+B per gallon of water...prior to 2 tsps I have to ph adjust my water...but once they hit taking 2 tsps it is easy as cake to feed them...

that is a amzing job. well done...
Yay! Recognition!

I am not sure that I needed anything else...the A+B was enough for the plant and me too... although the organic canna the bio whatever is half price at my local store..so perhaps I would try that...I know what cannazyme purports to do, but is it actually necessary?

canna is soooo expensive..... but anyways good fucking job. love the single cola makes my mouth water :bigjoint:
It was easy...i took the clone and as soon as it started to root I put it in the flower tent and it did the rest itself...it actually spent it's whole life til yesterday stacked on another plant...lol

Well as long as you have proper lighting there is no reason you can't...the strain also makes a huge difference...I have 2 that are dense like that...and 2 that are lighter...to tell the truth this strain is about too dense and sticky...it clogs up scissors, and grinders, and it turns the insides of jars and bags white...just a mess...and it makes you cough your face off...but then you are really really out there...I mean it is great smelling, tasting, looking, growing, yielding, but smokes like shit...no matter how long I cure it...I let this plant get good and done...hoping that might help...the first time I tried it and it was harsh i thought that it was because it hadn't cured long enough...so I set some up to cure longer...just left it in the jar til the next run of the same was done...so like 3 months later--it was even more harsh...so I thought maybe I need to flush, and cut the nutes way way way back before I take it down...so I did, and it turns out if you let it get hungry around the 5th week of flower you kill your yield, but the plant turns purple and it ends up smelling just exactly like pine sol when you open the jar super super piney smelling...and now this one is drying after I left it til the hairs were gone and what it did still have were orange...and I flushed the coco just in case....so we'll see once it is dried and cured...and if it makes me cough my ass off still then I am done with this plant...

I used like a one gallon for that one. It was a small clone...I rooted the clone in a cloner, but as soon as it got roots I planted it in coco and stuck it in flower...it had no roots really at the very beginning of flowering, but it sure filled the tiny pot by the end...

Honestly that single cola in such a small pot is awesome. I would love to see you do like 16 - 32 of those all under a single HID, with each staying that small and that dense and in that size of a pot it would be easy and you could have a seriously quick and nice harvest. I love the fact that its a single cola number one, and that it is literally from top to bottom bud, and from a 4 inch plant with hardly any roots when started that is really great! Keep it up and keep showing us your progress!

Well I didn't really do a whole lot...I just had an extra clone so instead of tossing it out, I put it in flower...it did end pretty impressive though...I always get better results with coco now though...this was my first coco plant, but I won't stop using it ever I don't think.

Thank you though...I could get a great harvest off of that many plants...but that would be a lot of plants.

Hey man I don't know how to pm u but I have a few question about the critical+ if you don't mind. I saved this thread and if u can somehow let me know when u reply to me that would be awesome.
