yea its key not to harvest them too early , grow on ..bongsmilie
Oh I know, unless I am forced to I am going to let it ripen I might wait 11 weeks on this ten week strain and I am going to hold my 7 week critical to 10 or 11 weeks as well.

It never hurts giving it a week or two longer than breeder suggestions considering they are probably grown under 1000's watts and stellar conditions.
Were as I am using 480w of LED's. I don't even care about the critical so if it loses potency from growing to long I could care less 22% is to strong for me anyways! It was a freebie seed I threw it in there as a "just in case plant". As if you recall when I started this grow I only had the two plants. I only ordered one Dutch Passion/CBD Crew SkunkHaze medical. After losing my bag seed to root rot I was afraid it would happen again to my only plant (which it did). So I germed my freebie.. Now that i think of it im happy of two things a that my One skunk haze germinated thank god herbies! And second that my dwc failed and i took three clones. I believe I will harvest more one the three clones combined than the one plant I had. I can't wait to try it I am not going to try the cbd skunk haze until it is dried and cured!

Update sept 13th End of week 3.

Ok, so there isn't much to add as we move into week 4. The critical is doing way better than previous weeks if you go through the photos in the past you can see a unhappy female. But I have addressed it apparently my nutrient ratio was all wonky. Flushed and over the last few weeks I have brought the nutrient levels up and she is looking like she is on the up and up.

Now my Cbd Skunk haze #1 clone has some nutrient issue I believe which, I am trying to correct. I have been foilar feeding micros until the soil drys so I can correct it. The top fan leaves are yellowing completely veins and all it looks like a lack of N except it is starting at the top not the bottom of the plant. I will continue to evaluate the symptoms while the soil dries which is taking long and is concerning it has been 4-5 days and the soil remains moist. I don't like that, if I could go back I would add sand to the pro mix.

The #2 and #3 clones are just troopers they are happy as hell.

I want to see some buds were going onto the second month in 4 days!

Here are the images for my weekly up date! Day 27 of 12/12

looking good
Ive run into a humidity problem.. Like my plants are fine but for some reason my closet humidity has spiked to 90% and the lowest I' be been able to bring it down to was about 75%. Which is really weird considering most of my grow my humidity was maxing 70 usually 60 or below. I have set my bedroom air conditioner to dehumidify its pulling water out of the room like mad but not doing shit for my closet humidity levels in the morning when I open the door its at 90 by the time the dark cycle comes and I close my closet door its about 75. I need to do something or its going to mold I don't know where this mysterious humidity in my apartment is coming from..

I cannot leave the closet door closed during the day because it will go to 90-100% humidity and go to 80 degrees. Like a rainforest which is perfect for mold. I have even added two moisture absorbers and they're do jack shit fuck all.. Frustrated.:wall:

hows the smell on the skunk and critical ? have a cuz whos getting ready to drop them both in h2o.
Hey thanks for stopping by
Good to see new faces.
Cbd skunkhaze has virtually no weed smell. Even if you rub a leaf you won't smell a typical marijuana scent. It smells to me like a fresh peeled banana peel. The critical stinks hard! Smells like weed and coffee beans. That's the whole reason I had to get deodorizers if I don't have the critical I could blow a fan on the hazes and have a fruity smelling apartment I bet you wouldn't guess the smell was weed.

PS carefull with hydro and the skunkhaze its very sensitive. It doesn't like a lot of nutrients and I found that if the conditions weren't perfect it was easily affect with root rot and fungal problems.. I started in dwc and had to take clones cut her down and go soil she wasn't having non of that.

you need a dehumidifier
I did I set my air conditioner to de humidify its the only one I have and I can't afford to buy a separate dehumidifier.. I need to find another method. I might get cat litter and a nylon sock and try to absorb moisture by hanging litter filled nylons in the closet lol.

I'm going to add a fan I think I figured out why the humidity has risen. I removed the fan because I figured the air purifier was providing enough air flow. Since the leaves were moving. But I'll add the other fan and get the air really moving. I'm hoping my air purifier will prevent me from getting mold. Since it was rated for 100sq/ft and it's in a closet that's about 6sq/ft..

Ello WORLD WIDE WEB! lol

This week there has been a few changes. Not to the set up but; of plant growth! Nothing exploding but this week I feel as if the plant has noticeably picked up growth rate. Most weeks I have to compare photo's with previous weeks to confirm they were still growing haha.. This week I can notice each morning when I open the closet door a small but significant increase in growth and I am optimistic if it continues like this I am sure I will see my buds double by 50% in two weeks..excited.

Just as I got my critical back on track it F$%ked it up again.. oh well after 3 1/2 months of looking after a problematic plant you start not to care or at least let it affect you. Nothing serious, I just burned her.. see I shouldnt have touched her but she was starting to fade in green so I figured lets put the feed on. I gave her full strength nutes which she handled well but didn't darken up so 2 days later I added more nutes...big mistake. Tips and edges are burning in certain spots.

But the skunk haze clones they are doing great, couldnt ask for anything better and that is directly the case because I am ubber conservative with those plants I would rather starve them than add to much nutes as this is my medical strain and the less crap put in it the better. I know a good flush will fix that but whatever imma do what I want. Plus they seem to really like it that way. They are really light on the nutrients they start to curl at around 450ppm.

I have also figured since I put the clones in new premium potting mix a week before flowering the soil contains alot of deposited nutrients. Especially nitrogen, my plants were toxing on N for a while curling down narrow taco leaves dark dark green. I have compensated for that by watering with liquid karma and only bloom 0-5-4 which contains no nitrogen. I figure the soil has enough micro's and every so often ill feed little doses of it. I don't think my clones will be able to use up the soil nutrient supply by then end of they're growth as they were only in the soil for a week before the flip. Considering there is probably a couple months worth of nutrient reserves in the soil im fine. Plus, i think that also contributed to me over ferting my critical I underestimated the nutrient levels. I find it hard with those soils because you don't know how much of each nutrient is put in and which gets consumed faster so when you feed you feed some part of nutrients and over feed other kind of nutrients. If that makes sense to you.

So here are the pictures for this week I usually do them Saturday but, I was fishing a pristine north ontario lake. Let me tell you any of you boys or girls who like to fish Ontario is where its at thousands of lakes 5-15 mins away from each other all loaded with fish depending on the lake walleye, sm/L bass, pike, musky, trout all species, cat fish, carp you name it. It really is a beautiful province I love living here! Great hunting as well.

K, got distracted. Here are the photo's for this Sunday as mention above lol I used my good fuji finepix 18mp camera so you could see the growing nugs and crystals :).

I want to add for anyone in the future browsing this thread for strain info. The cbd skunk haze is a very slow budding strain. I guess that's to be expected with a 10+ week strain. But honestly, it feels as though you are watching paint dry completely different than an all indica strain by far! These photos are 35 days old or exactly 5 weeks old tomorrow starts week 6.

man i must have a 100 % sativa cause im at week 7 or 8 and i just have little buds starting (like a 2 week flower on normal bud ) its crazy . ive never had a slow growing plant like this. crap i grew willie nelson before and it ran 16 weeks and it never took this long to get bud formation.

LOL yeah i now know that! Love Sativa's but hate the wait. I am just trying to hold everything together for one more month.. I feel like with my luck everything will start going down hill towards the end.

What do you mean by fire? Like potent? Because I hope not! The reason I ordered the strain was because they claimed to be 5% thc/5% cbd. But then i read a lab analysis of cbd skunk haze and it turned out to be 12%thc / 11% cbd that is a little strong for me. But better than my 22% critical..
