This article is full of actual cases. Writ large, they add up to an authoritarian system where America's freedoms are illusory and authorities have absolute power and no accountability.

Oh my gawd, Becky, look at her butt!

The USA has been anti freedom since the beginning. Every coercion based government that ever existed has been and always be, too.

Shortly after "liberating" the colonies from England's unbearable taxation etc., newly minted President George Washington rode at the head of a 13,000 man army, raised to intimidate Pennsylvanian whiskey distillers into paying HIS Federal government tax money.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

You're one of the very few people I've ever encountered that invents new ways to look stupid.

First off, the revolution was over taxation without representation.

The so-called whisky rebellion was not. It was simply a bunch of greedy fucks that figured they should never have to pay taxes of any kind.

The alcohol tax was passed to help pay off the debts of the revolution. It was voted on by the representatives those same idiots elected.

What's more, George Washington also paid the tax and had no problem doing so.

James Macfalane was the David Koch of the 18th century. He thought government existed to serve him.

George Washington educated him to the idea that he was wrong.

The speech President Washington gave that day personifies the man he was. He put on his glasses, something most men never did in public because it was considered a sign of weakness.

His first words right after he did that were, "Forgive me, for I have grown old and blind in service to my country."

And to paraphrase Gimli from LOTR: you speak fouly of that which is fair beyond your comprehension and only little wit can excuse you.

He never said that, nimrod.

Post more Fox News fake memes.

Like I said, you invent new ways to look stupid every post you make.
Prove that he never said it. (You can't)

Even IF he never said it, the message in the quote is accurate and demonstrably provable, simple logic and arithmetic can demonstrate that, Simpleton.

It’s not at all clear that Washington ever actually said this. I searched for it in various databases, and the earliest reference I found to it was in a 1902 source.

Several researchers have attempted to trace this saying, and no substantive evidence supporting the ascription to George Washington has yet been located. The earliest linkage to Washington appeared in “The Christian Science Journal” in 1902 which was more than one hundred years after his death.

Nobody has ever been able to attribute that quote to him. In fact, the only source ever found to have that quote at all was the Christian Science Journal, a right wing nut-job publication even then, a full century after Washington died.

But since you like fake memes that you present is fact, here you go:

did you read this article? it does not have one single specific case cited....at all...it mentions three non specific incidents....
i agree with the spirit of your argument, agree that the authorities overstep their boundaries on a regular basis...but read the shit you post....don't tell me "This article is full of actual cases." when it patently is not.....

admit you are wrong and just move forward. Damn you are wrong on a lot of things, so this should not come as a surprise.
Sometimes, I'm wrong, (not very often) , but not when I'm talking with you.

Your bemusement is my amusement.

If there are "authorities" how do they advance or ensure equality ?

No confusion on my part here. I guess you are amused at yourself.
Only two things I need from you.
1. Stop thinking a 12 year old can consent to sex with you.
2. Stop thinking it is right to use racism to kick someone out of a public property.

Public property? Has thinking about 12 year olds gotten you confused again?

tty has done the same many times. He cites something, posts a link, then after going through the article he linked to it's either full of fake shit or as you noted, doesn't even say what he claimed.

It's why I just say whatever comes from counterpunch or that fake economist site or many other bs sites he links to are suspect. Because too often the crap found on those sites DO support the right wing agenda by feeding crap to weak minds like tty's.

Liars lie. They are poisonous to reason. I won't even give the liar a chance to feed me that lie.

i looked up counterpunch, while they're considered very liberal, they're also considered to be pretty reputable...

not that i trust any news site without confirmation from at least a couple of others, but i don't see any reason to especially mistrust counterpunch, as long as you allow for their liberal bias
