did you read this article? it does not have one single specific case cited....at all...it mentions three non specific incidents....
i agree with the spirit of your argument, agree that the authorities overstep their boundaries on a regular basis...but read the shit you post....don't tell me "This article is full of actual cases." when it patently is not.....

Public property? Has thinking about 12 year olds gotten you confused again?
Public property or property open to the public. Operative word here is PUBLIC.
The only thinking I have about a 12 year old is that creepy men like yourself think they can consent with sex with them or any adult. I say they cannot and the adult should face 10 -15 years in prison with the inmates knowing what they did.

i looked up counterpunch, while they're considered very liberal, they're also considered to be pretty reputable...

https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/counterpunch/

https://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php/Counterpunch

not that i trust any news site without confirmation from at least a couple of others, but i don't see any reason to especially mistrust counterpunch, as long as you allow for their liberal bias
Yes they have a liberal bias. Yes, they are highly factual. They are biased an a very sneaky way that serves the right wing agenda. When I've pulled up some of their articles, I've found many times that the articles provide cherry picked statements or information.

For example, they had an article about how California was giving tax breaks to the wealthy and their article was clearly saying that those damn Democrats were pandering to wealthy people. Tty was all apoplectic about that.

When I went to looked into the issue at a quality media outlet that produced news-based reporting on the same issue, it turned out that yes, they were giving tax breaks to people who owned homes in high priced areas. Those people had stunningly high mortgage interest payments. Those people are not rich, they were barely making payments on modest homes in high cost neighborhoods and depended on that write-off to make it possible to buy that home. Trump's tax plan had capped tax write offs for their mortgages. It was all a "stick it to my enemies" type of deal. California adjusted their tax laws to make up for that loss in federal write-offs. So, yes, the counterpunch article was factual but distorted the story to make California's government seem as if they were just giving money away to rich people. The story was actually more complex and no, California was not pandering to the wealthy.

The radical right wing have an agenda of splitting the Democratic party. That article served their purposes. I don't really care what counterpunch's intent was, maybe they don't like Jerry Brown, maybe they are like tty and blame anybody in power for something. That article served the purposes of the radical right using biased media reporting. I find that sketchy.

Which is why I say:

counterpunch is a media site that serves the right wing agenda. Anything coming from them is suspect.

So you've given this kiddie diddling a lot of thought then? I certainly agree that consent between humans makes for better relationships, isn't it odd that you claim to believe that, but then violate that axiom in other circumstances, like the one below?

How could property be "open to the public", if the owner has declared otherwise? Wouldn't that require somebody forcing the owner of a property to serve another person against his/her will? Isn't that how slavery is defined? What happened to consent being important?

Rob...you never seem to understand...people cooperate with each other, to improve all their lives...and there is a price for everything in life, everything....you may not want what the majority of people want, but that doesn't make their desires any less real or valid than yours. if you want to participate in society, accept people the way they are, and deal with it. if you don't want to participate in society, why do you try so hard to convince us that we're wrong about everything? if society is the ridiculous, broken joke you say it is, why do you care what we monkeys think?
you will never succeed in changing the world to suit yourself. ever. no one ever has. or ever will.
all you do is confirm, again and again, that you are intolerant, that you can't accept others the way they are, that you have to try to control everyone you come in contact with.
good luck with that...

You seem to be equating tyranny of the majority with "cooperation". That's just one of the reasons your post is inaccurate.

The only people who are cooperating with each other are the ones who interact on a voluntary and mutual basis. If the interaction isn't voluntary, using the word "cooperation" is word abuse of the highest order.

I'm not very tolerant of involuntary human relations, why are you? Your post is self contradicting.

I can sum that up in one sentence:

Rob, when you are the only one that thinks the way you do, it's not everybody else, it's just you.

Oh hello there Mr. 92 mph fastball.

Funny thing about contradictory opinions, they don't magically become noncontradictory if a large number of people all wish them to be so.
You can't vote a thing that is false into becoming true.

Mr. Shrubber used the term "cooperation" in the same way that police do, the word he should have used is "comply".

I'd explain more to you, but you'd probably run away and cry.

Can you offer evidence that the meaning of the quote is not accurate?

Are you saying that "government" isn't force?
Can you offer evidence that the “quote”, as it was presented, is accurate? Of course you can’t because you’ve lost and all that’s left is lies and stupid memes. Like your sorry attempt to explain your sending your kids to public school, pretty sure that was not forced upon you unless you as parents were deemed inadequate to educate them yourselves. And that you say it took two kids to realize they were being brainwashed, not very insightful of you is it. It’s not winning when everything you say can be countered with logic, leaing you to resort to comics. You should try and do better.

He can't do better. He is apoplectic with fear that society has a gun pointed at him in order to raise the money for that illegal Mexican family to go to the water park today.

I've already shown where the quote came from.
  • The United States Library of Congress has no record of it.
  • The United States Archives has no record of it.
  • The United States Executive Branch has no record of it.
  • Dozens of scholars have concluded that George Washington never said it, that the Christian Science Magazine made it up in 1902, a full century after George Washington died.
But he's got a meme off the internet made in Photoshop, so it must be true.

He's the typical village idiot republican pedophile. We should all know that by now.

"cooperating" to me is not running over the asshole in front of me going 3 miles an hour, or following him to his destination, and kicking his ass. it's not peppering the neighbors with birdshot when they and their friends have an annoying party occasionally. it's not punching the loudmouth smartass kid at the store. when i say cooperating...i mean tolerating, usually....putting up with people's annoying shit, to help maintain the peace....so we can all enjoy a better standard of living, and exist without the fear of physical violence, even though physical violence would resolve a lot of the smaller stupider issues....
you have to evolve to the point where you have a social conscience, before you'll ever be concerned about anyone but yourself. it amuses me that you keep talking about fairness and equality when you patently don't care about either one, unless we're discussing how it applies to you. all of your arguments about how things should be..should be "how things should be so i can always have what i want"...you talk about freedom, but your version of freedom only applies to yourself, and dooms the rest of the world to anarchy and fear.....you just aren't a good person, you're just another greedy little turd that wants a perfect world...for themselves

Ok, Maria...

You only partially doxxed yourself this time. Congrats, you are getting better. Maybe you shouldn't put stories out there that actually list your home address. I mean, unless you want everybody to know. Come to think of it, this is the third time so I guess you do.
