It looks s lot better than the smoke it came from doesnt it?
Haha sho does. I'm pretty excited about it. It just started showing triches this week. The smell isn't very strong yet, but I'm guessing it's because it's just bagseed. I got some other seeds from a higher grade bag that I'm going to start growing like May. I need to build a bigger flower cab with possibly a 150w HPS. Right now it's all cfls. Thanks for the comments.

Any tips on beefing it up? I'm doing molasses like every week pretty much, with some bloom ferts the rest of the time.

I would slow down on the molasses some, and i would speed down to home depot and get a hps security light real cheap or better yet. hgtsupply.com has got awesome deals on some lights. You could rush one of those to your house (or a friends house) and you will be using it for a long long time. You can get a 400 watt mh/hps combo with a timer and extra long cords for like 160 bucks

stick it under at least a 250-400 what hps light and throw loads of nuts at them............ but make sure you flush it befor you flower for about 3-5 days then enjoy well above an 1oz or more !!!!!!

In that case no! You can get a 75 or 100 watt or something like that hps at home depot or lowes. Personally i would say get a bigger cabinet if possible. And try to get as much air circulation as possible. Some people overlook this critical aspect. If you decide to buy a hps/mh or whatever, go ahead and get atleast a 250 watt or later on down the road you will regret getting such a small one. But i have known people who have grown an entire plant with a home depot security light and had some pretty decent bud

ive got to disagree with you bro. about now is when i start pumping up my mollases feed, its hard(not impossible) to over due on mollases. i was giving a plant 2tblsp per gallon of water every other water at 1 point. i stopped because i saw no difference to the other plants, but no neg affects either.

Were you using just regular molasses, or some that was specifically designed for plants? I suppose the reason for my hesitance with molasses is that i used it on and outdoor grow one time and it attracted bugs like crazy. Since then i have been a little nervous to use it. I suppose this is my only reasoning behind that statement.

molasses works wonders, and there is no molasses designed for plants.

just use unsulphured

the molasses doesn't beef up the plant it just feeds the microbes in the soil that help the plants intake of nutes..yes they plant uptakes the carbs and sugars but its better to have a whole system working than part of it...if your not using organics you will see little of this the plumping because salt based ferts kill off alot of your micro life...

on too the topic at hand right now maybe a quarter to half an oz....more light = more bud....but if its personal you saved a buck or so anyway

^ actually molasses does "beef" up the plant. the main reason its used is to increase the amount of sugar taken into the plant, and molasses is just sugar in liquid form

Are you talking about flushing it before going into flowering? Or are you talking about before 8-12 week period in flowering?

I was told you dont need to flush when you go into flowering, just start with whatever other nutes. .02 if thats what u meant :eyesmoke:
