Yellow leaves and how much nitrogen to add and how often?

Y0 guys/ladies. MY plants are 2-3 weeks into flower. Had a nitrogen deficiency a week ago. A lot of my yellow leaves(most were shade leaves) are no coming back and some are drying up turning brown. I started cutting off the worst of the worse. I did a tea/nitrogen feeding about 5-6 days ago. Did another feeding with nutes and a 1/2 dose of nitrogen using ful-power which is a regular additive I use. So i guess my questions are this.

1. Should I cut off all yellow leaves(even if they are shade leaves)?

2. I'm going to add the normal recommended with my next watering. But how long do I keep adding it. I also just added my first dose of bat guano. Use tap water left out for 3 days then add cal/mag to all waterings.

Any advise is appreciated. If the fan leaves are no doing their, it makes sense to me to cut em off so light gets on the new lush growth. Thanks again!

use some of your grow nutes in your feed, there high in nitrogen. myself and many people i know use grow at a limited amount throughout the flower cycle to keep the leaves green. dont pull leaves off unless there dead, there on the plant for a reason, its fine to 'tweak' mother nature but dont go overboard.

i have the exact same issue with my plants. im 4 weeks in flower and about 50 percent of my leaves are bright yellow but not dead. im using dyna gro myself and ive been mixing the gro and nitrogen additives to try to get some green back.
what nutrients are u using?
also give the plant time to soak up that bat guano. ive heard that stuff is super strong. im gonna get some myself today.
i think we both need to boost up our N levels and allow the plant to soak it up

Make sure you know it's not N lockout.. it's easy to get and adding more will just compond the issue.

How can you tell if it is a lockout? PH paper strips have never worked for me and I cant afford to get get the pen tester until early next week.

I don't have a tester and my ph strips work as much as I'm sure Viagra does(lmao, I've never used it but I'm sure it's kinda like asian using an elephant tusk powder, super LMAO!). Anyways. I use tap water left out for 3 days. A local grower said Albany water supply is 6.8 steady all the time. I add Cal-Mag to my water due to how long I let it sit out for. I've added a triple dose of nitrogen with a local tea(fish emulsion+all kinds of wierd freaky shit). Did a feeding few days ago and with a 1/2 dose of extra N. Then did a bat guano feeding. It's been 3 days since all that. My yellow leaves are not coming back. It's only on the big older fan leaves. All my new-under-growth is lush. Some is a real light green on a few plants. I'm wondering which I have cause I dont wanna add N if it will make it worse. UGH!!!!! First grows SUCK!!!!!! MY buds look awesome tho!!!! Got major crystals at 2-1/2 weeks flower!

i use ph test drops, 5$ , any pet store that carries fish, or aquariums, they should have em.

lock out is when you give your plant too much nutrients( high ppm's ) or ph is outta wack, which will cause lockout, have you ever just fed ph'd water only ...no nutrients?

Ya. I vegged for 5 weeks using tap water no nutes. But I used a dirt called B.U.D(Best Urban Dirt) and already has nutes for the first month or so. I water every 4 days and do a feeding then a water and so forth as directed by my local hydro shop. THEY ALL GROW WEED IM SURE OF IT!!!! They keep calling it fruit. This one guy was like. Man, you should see my fruit. IK got some real, real nice fruit. Real good fruit. LMAO. Then the lady that sold me my charcoal filter was like, "I use this at my place cause the smells so bad!". Anyways. If you got idea's for me lemme know!

Ok. Here's what I did. I lost about half my fan leaves on most my girls. They got all dry and crackly so I snipped em. Left the good yellow leaves. Did a feeding with 3/4 strenght nutes and a 7/8 strenght nitrogen supplement along with Ful-Power and Cal/Mag. Also did a foliar feeding of 1/2 the recommended strenght for foliar feeding of nitrogen. I'm hoping it's not a lock-out and just a lack of N. I'll know in a few days the results I guess. Will the yellow leaves get green again? What is the impact of losing a good chunk of my fan leaves if I have super bushy plants? Buds are looking good and new growth is unaffected. Seems the old growth is the first to show signs. Lemme know ur thoughts on my actions. Thanks!!!

i think your doing the best u can. just be carefull not to over feed N. but i think ur doing fine. give the plants some time to soak up that N u have been pumping into them

I also just noticed that it's only leaves getting direct sunlight that are going yellow. All my inner leaves are lush green. UGH THIS SUX!!! The wait is killing me!

have a look at this mate http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230709083449&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en#ht_6180wt_821 i'v got the same problem at the moment so what i'v done is flushed all my plants and then when there ready for there next watering i'm going to just water with canna mono nitrogen and hopefully that sorts my problem i'll let you know how it goes:peace:
I used the same + calmag (one dose on nitro), love canna. Did the trick, yellow leaves didn't come back to green but no new yellow leaves. Expect your finish date to be put back a bit, nitro injection during flower....... not good.

Without pics guessing your in soil and it's N def. Lockout or nut burn would show burning on outer edges of leaves. N def looks like the plant is sucking nuts out of the big fan leaves first which it literally is and new growth still looks fine. Up your N to recommended dose and don't go crazy with other shit. Your leaves WILL NOT come back but new growth should stay greeen. Went through exact same thing last grow. And seriously dude... invest in a PH meter. It will at least give you peace of mind and consistency in your grow. Also, maybe consider bigger pots.

Minor N def at week 5 of bloom
