Awesome interesting thread to watch and follow Nnth, I'm really enjoying it. I don't have any knowledge or even valid feedback to impart, but just know that I'm sittin in the shadows, quietly observing and smiling (but not in a creepy predator kind of way. Oh, maybe though, those ladies(?) are pretty damn sexy)

Thanks for being my grow's creeper. :D :peace:

Lol. Not a dog hair. My dog has short straight hair and it's too small to be a short'n'curly. :D I think it's from a sweater but I'm sure for every 3 bowls I smoke, there's gonna be a dog hair smoked with 1 of them. :bigjoint:

Smoking some bush today for 420. Just some little sugar leaves and one not too important bud covered in trichs. Great high so far. Tastes really green of course but vaped 1 bowl and the first hit was fantastic tasting. Chemical sweet. Very nice, refreshing stone thus far. Mild munchies. Chilling with a beer and I still don't feel overly body stoned. Happy 4-20 people. Keep it green. :bigjoint: :peace:

Just another quick update. Still have more than a month to go at this point but if the stuff I pulled off her on 4-20 is any indicator, this Strawberry Blue is going to make me a very proud papa.

The Big Lady is doing great with even the smaller buds covered in trichomes already. Some of which are actually turning magenta. Not the pistils. The Trichomes. Pic below. That's neat'o'Toledo.

I have to throw a side note in about how I had picked this strain in hopes it would be a low odor operation. Couldn't have picked better as the only smell the big lady is putting off is this kind of musky, old and sweet smell. Smells NOTHING like bud. So that's a good thing.

Anyways she's great. I'm happy.

Little Lady is doing great as well and while the growth is the same as big sis, the smell she's got when you rub some of the sugar leaves is something amazing in it's own right. Some sort of bizarre Lemon Custard, Citronella meets pineapple and kiwi. It's FUCKING INCREDIBLE. I have smoked some sweet, fruity ass dank in my day and I have NEVER smelled this. So that's cool. She's great. I'm happy.

Grow weed. Be happy. 'Nuff said.

I just got a pack of these Strawberry Blue. What you have showing is that it looks pretty damn good. Would you grow this strain again because I have a bunch of strains to choose from and the SB is only one of them.

Beautiful bro, both of your ladies are looking wonderful!!!
Everything i've tried from WoS turns out nice (except AK Ryder--wouldn't germ) and your Strawberry-Blue looks to be no exception..They def. have some nice genetics.
Keep up the great work.

I'd grow it again for sure. They still have time but I just can't imagine they are going to suddenly take on a strong weed smell out of the blue. If I had vegged longer and pruned a bit earlier on, this plant would make for an exceptional SCROG. The Squat profile combined with LST would be great for a grow space without much headroom too. So far I haven't had any nutrient problems either so she's a fairly hardy plant as well. She hermied after being subjected to super low night temps for 3 or 4 days but it was very limited. I've picked off 8 male/female flower sites in all. I collected pollen from 2 that I left on to mature and pollinated a few buds on both plants. So I'll have some feminized seeds that are going to be true to Big Lady, and some that are crossbreeds of the different phenotype that is Little Lady. Best thing is that I'll still have time this year to throw a few outside guerrilla style and see what they do under the sun. Stoked. :bigjoint:

So yeah. Ease of growth. Low profile. Low odor. Great stone even early on. Strawberry Blue is going to be my go to girl for some time. Thanks for stopping by. :peace:

So I have confirmed seed development on both Strawberry Blue plants.

Two buds on the Sweet Lemon Phenotype - Little Lady(LL)

Five small buds on the Sweet Earthy Berry Phenotype - Big Lady(BL)

I was wondering to myself earlier about what to expect from the seeds. The pollen came from BL and so I would expect that the seeds will stay true to her in every way. What got me thinking the most is what to expect from the crossing of the phenotypes. What chance do I have that the lemon of LL will come through? I would fucking love it to have some Strawberry Lemonade bud growing. Anyone have any experience with breeding 2 diff phenotypes of the same strain? Thanks in andvance. :peace:
