Just another quick update. In keeping with the way I do things, I've been topping bud sites so that each branch end will have two main buds. It works for me and it's what I do. Gives me some little premature bud babies to smoke while I wait for the rest to come full term.

First pic. Have you seen a leaf like this before? Not me. :D

Next up it's big sister.

And here's little sister.

Everything looks good and from the few tokes I've had off some little baby buds I'd be willing to bet this bud is going to be Fan-fucking-tastic! :D :peace:

it'd be great if the branch that leaf was on produces some sort of mutant bud as well. i've had tri-nodal branching before but never a leaf like that. aahhhh growing......always full of surprises. :D

yeah there's a ton of bud sites that are going to be exposed to a fair amount of light. now i'm just keeping my fingers crossed and hoping the root system is built up enough to allow each of those buds to really prosper. i have faith though because the main stem is fat as hell and so are all the side branches. i've never had a plant stay so squat before so it's been a new experience in that department and i can't wait to see the end result. and then smoke it. :D :peace:

Thanks a lot. I think she's blushing. :D

You'll see a lot more beauties when you're cruising around this site. Check out the 12/12 From Seed thread. That del dude has some real beasts.

Welcome to Rollitup. :peace:

I'd say a month and a half or so. Plenty of time for the buds to get bigger and frost up nicely. Can't wait for a well cured bowl of this stuff!!! :D

I love the shape and color of those bushes, also leaf mutations are always nice to see lol..Usually a good sign of towards the finished product (i have no facts to back that up tho lol, just from what i've seen).

Keep up the good work, Its always a treat checking in on your thread.

Thanks a million. I'm looking forward to posting up a smoke report on some well tended buds of this strain. In the last few days the smell that comes from the trichomes when bumped has gone from a sweet but still very tangy, chemical smell, and transformed into this sweet, almost guava kind of smell with a papaya sort of heaviness. When I smell it I actually can't keep myself from smiling like a little kid. I'm so excited at the potential for this to be a keeper strain.

Thanks for following along everyone. I'm stoked on everybody's grows. :peace:

Soooooooooooo. Update. Where to start?

Big momma. She's a he. He's a she. She's a he she. Actually, SHE has put out a few "perfect" flowers. That is to say that she isn't putting out mostly female flowers and then a few males as well. She's putting out dual sexed flowers; stamen, pistils and all.
My initial thoughts were negative but then......after quite a bit of looking into it, I started to look at this as a positive thing. Because she is most definitely mostly female, using the pollen produced by these stamen will actually result in FEMINIZED seeds. I know you hear a lot of secondhand info about how hermie pollen produces hermie seeds, but there are different factors to consider there. I recently left the window in my grow room open halfway so that the cooler night temps might begin to induce a bit of purple into the leaves. This has worked. There IS purple showing on some of the leaves now.
The downside is that it actually got way colder than I thought it would and I believe that is what triggered the change to hermie. The upside is that now I have collected some female pollen, dusted a couple of buds on each plant, and anxiously await my feminized seeds. :D

For those of you who don't like to read......HERE'S A VIDEO ------------> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CwndxS1zvsg

Other than that she's doing great.

Little Sister is now officially budding and I've got a couple of pics of her lady bits to show off to you.

On to the pictures.

Beautiful bush!!! :weed: Plus free seeds are a plus. I hope the whole plant doesn't get pollinated though?
Your yield should be very nice all those bud sites
 I hope we get the like button back soon.

Awesome interesting thread to watch and follow Nnth, I'm really enjoying it. I don't have any knowledge or even valid feedback to impart, but just know that I'm sittin in the shadows, quietly observing and smiling (but not in a creepy predator kind of way. Oh, maybe though, those ladies(?) are pretty damn sexy)

I'm hoping so too. The only hermie flower that was open already was the one pictured, it was lower on the plant, and I used tweezers to open that stamen up. Hopefully by staying on top of it I can prevent any further pollen release. I'm stoked on the free seeds idea because well, who wants to spend money they don't have to spend? :D
