Geez Cali, I wasn't even stoned yet and that flipped my royal ass out to space bro. Had to plug in the Les Paul and drill with it. Didn't know Maynard was behind that...thanks for turning us on. Dank's gonna love this one too.
Good stuff! I'll raise you this:

Watt, nice buds you got there...nice to see a 2gal bucket in this neck of the woods too.... Colorado is an awesome choice...you feel higher than normal untill you realize you were high to begin with. Then you wonder which high it was and if it was you, the altitude or the sweets, then you simply give in the fact that it was "all of the above".

hey guys, I cant get a good picture but I am currently growing nirvanas northern lights and all of them have yellow bud sites....I watered with botanicare's cal mg and G.O's biothrive grow in veg and they were perfect.

When it was time to flower, I then started using Fox Farm's big bloom and calmg. I just completed my first week of flowering thursday and noticed the issue.

Ph is usually between 5.8-6.0 and I am using OC+ which is time released nutrients. I am thinking its a sulfur issue but never have I had a sulfer def. before with using the oc+ and big bloom. Just purchased somem dynagro protekt and used it yesterday for the first time. Here is a pic but its really hard to see whats going on under the HPS

Well aside from fucking aphids my girls are just about ready to go into flower. I fear that my seed plants may be getting a little big for my lights as the parent strains on half of them are vigorous stretchers. I may top some but ive been supercropping and a bit of fimming so some have multiple tops..heck plant on far left here second from bottom got fimmed and im counting 11 top shoots the most ive ever seen from a fim. You can tell which one by the funky leaves. I will be vegging for another week though at least while i hit em with Bayer and wait on my nematodes. Hell at least with my new tent if i get too much shrubbery in there i can move a few off to the fringe and at least get some hash buds from them. I do have a 150 watt hps and400 watt mh that i may toss in there bringing my wattage to 1750. View attachment 2508744

my plants still in solo cups are suffering due to needing watering twice a day..they are the ones i havent sexed yet and i may just toss them.View attachment 2508744

I can't see anything much of what going on here. but I'm trying to think of common issues of white tip bud, first thought where 'light bleaching'. but I see no signs in the pic you posted.

Youre using quite a cocktail of nutes so identifying a particular def might be tricky because too much of one element can lock out another. Your plant may be fine in a few days but keep us updated on how its going for you, if you can try to post a clearer pic that would be great too. :peace:

What do you guys think about giving a single Veg feed in bloom to green-up foliage?

Is this OK? Have you done it?

Moe, are you questioning for Tsboss1 or your own grow? For yours, if you are running Lucas with the GH Flora Micro and Bloom, I don't see an issue with adding a 1ml Gro to balance it out once in a while prior to week 5.

For Tsboss's yellowing bud site issue, I've seen plants bud sites proliferating so fast that they are a little yellowish green as the open up. They soon darken up once exposed to light in the next 24 hrs.

self. Thanks Jela. That's how I felt but just wanted to check I wasn't being stupid.

Maybe I should get some of the GH gro. I was just going to use another brands veg nutes (Vitalink) on its own to give an N boost.

Looking great Shaggn! Your little hempy army reminds me of mine. I like what ya did with the wooden hanger for those daisy chained HTG t5's ;) What is the 2x4 veg tent? You've got me wondering if I could fit one in mine. Looking forward to seeing them flower!

Moe and other fans of Lucas, if you ever find yourself at the crossroads of base nutes, I ran the Lucas formula too at one time, but I ran the GH FloraNova series "Bloom" only as a 1 part mix. I grew some big green monsters with it. The plants never needed anything else. It was gentle on young plants too...and worry free in regards to pH. I have to warn you though, it was thick and dark as chocolate requiring a lot of shaking before mixing. I diluted it 50% with distilled water and just used twice as much (16ml instead of 8ml) to aid the mixing uniformity/measuring during feeds. It does have some organics in it, but they worked nicely with the hempy method. Why did I stop using it after 2 grows? At the time I was making frequent trips out of town and I would mix up batches ahead of time for my wife to feed. The organics in it would start getting stinky after about 4 days in the premix containers. So I moved over to the Canna line, the makers of the coco I was using.

When using OC+ you need no other nutes, If fact you can't use other base nutes. What you've done is created an excess of "P" this itself is a big woop but it will block the uptake of iron and boron. You didn't mention your medium, if its perlite then the 5.9 ph is fine if it's coco then this is way to low, for your feed water.

Flush...........Flush.................Flush....................................Flush.

So what I'm growin' now, I found out is not a Koloco Mist, but a yet to be determined mist or haze. Doesn't matter I guess, it tastes like Lifesavers candies, and will keep ya going without a harsh crash. On to my point, today was 11wk, I've been watching the trichs for a couple wks and they have been 90% clear on top of very milky stalks, last wk I started to see stalkless amber heads on the sugar leaf. 2 days ago the some of the clear heads showed an amber hue but were still see-thru. This morning a large % showed these translucent amber heads.

Has anyone else seen a plant skip cloudy trics???? Or anything similar to this???
I can't say I have noticed this but I don't pay too much attention to trich colour. .... Basically, my method is to lick my finger and hold it in the air. ... Seriously though, I tend to go by bud formation and how much the pistills have retracted. If I had a better microscope I would certainly use it.

What I really need to do is build a photography light box and take close up picks with my digital cam.

BTW ... That bud looks great man. I'm liking what you're doing with the OC+. :weed:

Thx DrDank :) Actually all the cups in the veg tent are males except for one :P (future breeding program this summer) Don't want to have males going off while my ladies are, so the guys have to wait. I don't have the room to safely bloom everything off and know 100% that my ladies won't get accidently pollenated. I'm not sure the name brand for my tent, just picked it up from a local hydro shop. It's a lot better than my 4x4 (which will also be upgraded, when I can). Tent n cooltube are starter gear, already have the new tent and hood picked out, once I have the coin. Starter hempy army!!! 24 in 2L with another 24 going into 2L and put under 600 about 2-3 weeks after the first batch. Peace!!

Very VERY nice, Shaggn.

I love how you've jammed 24x2L's into the tub/tray. Sounds like a good plan you've got with putting in another tray in 2-3 weeks.

Whats great with this method is that you're able to easily slide the tray out of the tent IF you needed to work on the plants and they can ALL be trimmed or worked on separately also making it easier come harvest time.

I think its a great method for any disabled patients out there too. I could see a person in a wheelchair managing several tubs of 24 Hempys if they were setup on a bench at accessible height.

I'm extremely interested on how you get on with these dude. :peace:
