Did some tying of BW5 today to open her up a bit. BW1 was opened up over a week ago.

They are both receiving only pH'ed water @ 5.8 to 5.9

BW one has some bulk to her, cola feel heavy, I hope so!

BW5 is kind of airy, but beginning to bulk up some, looks like extra days for her.

Got a couple pics of some 8 headed mini-mainlines I am running in the back of the
box under LED.

Medium is 60/40 perlite/coco, in folger's coffee cans. Total height is about 18-20 inches.

Day 26 for all plants. (or 27 I'm not quite sure)
First is Royal Queen Critical.

Next is a feminized cross I made using that critical and a Dinafem SSH.

Those tie downs are about worthless, I need to fabricate a small support.

And the 3 plant scrog under the main light.

SS,
Those are some lovely ladies!
My G/F has been collecting some of those Folgers coffee cans for me for a while now, she gets them from her workplace. You know they hold exactly one gallon of water. I am thinking of using them for a SOG at some point.
The SCROG is look fabulous, which do you feel is the most work, the SCROG or the mainline (manifold).

Sky, from seed to start of flower was just over 39 days. They have been in flower now for 68 days and will harvest BW1 next Monday, 4/20 @
4:20 PM. Not sure how much longer I am give BW5, at least another week maybe 80 days or so, she is still light and airy but filling in more now.

Need to get that cabinet free, these ladies (clones) need to get out from under the LED and under the 400W HPS. They were taken from the mothers on 2/27/15, rooted and transplanted into the two gallon Hempys on 3/12. The are in day 29 of 12/12,

4 BW1's and 3 BW5's.

Thanks for the Gr8 compliment. As far as the scrog/mainline comparison, I've found that
the overall work involved with training is about the same.

All those ladies were germinated on the same day, so where the difference may lie is in
veg time and plant recovery. I can veg a full screen in the same time it takes to prune 8 heads.

As far as overall production I cannot give a fair estimate as I do not have the overhead height
in my cabinet to mainline in the 2 gal buckets. I would venture to say yields would be similar.

Day 70 of 12/12

Well, here we are near the end of this grow.

I will be harvesting BW1 on Monday 4/20 and BW2 a week or so later. Checked trichs, some lightly cloudy and a few with just a tiny dot of amber in the center of a few trichs. BW2 is still filling in and has mostly clear trichs.
I have started pre harvest trim, removed the fan leaves and any dead or dying leaves, will trim the rest on harvest day, with final trim after dried.

Fan leaves removed 4 days prior to harvest

These cola are all 12+"

"Sticky Fingers" Stones, came on my Jango station while I was pruning. bongsmilie

BW5, removed the dead and dying leaves, fans will be removed at some point next week. Nice buds but still a bit airy.

BW5 is a sativa strong pheno, hope the high is very sativa.

Will take some pics during the harvest of Black Widow 1 @ 4:20PM on 4/20/15. Lol just love it.

they have quite the unique colour, almost a purple/red ....I bet they'll be tasty as all heck
I hadn't noticed before trimming the colors. But during I began to see the lavender shades show up in the buds and a royal purple at the base of some sugar leaf. I have 2 clones of this pheno for next run I'm thinking of letting it go longer to see what shows up. That decision will be made after a little curing and smokin' :bigjoint:. Could be that 50 days was too long already. Just got to wait and see.

Hey Watt,
I want a taste, damn they look delicious.
Good job bud!
Sure hopping the taste/buzz test will match all the indicators.

4/20/15, day 74 for Black Widow 1 and chop day @ 4:20 PM.

BW5 has the cabinet to itself for a short period of time then, she gets chopped and the clones get to move to the cabinet, and they are ready for that.
I started my trim a few days prior to harvest day. Dead or dying leaves first, select fan leaves when I open the cabinet to move the uvb light I will remove a few leaves at a time, then today I do about a 80% trim. I will do full trim prior to jarring.

@4:20PM I started the chop.

Hung in closet to start the drying process. Usually I cut the individual stems but this time I cut the whole plant at the base of the trunk and going to dry this way.

And what a great day it has been.

Awesome harvests Watt and Gr8.

That BW looks quite bulky and thick, should be a nice yielder. I've always liked the
widow taste and buzz, nice and oldschool. Gr8 job mate.

Watt, what can I say? That is maybe the nicest looking plant I have ever seen. That
should be the example pic on Sub's site. Just Beautiful man.
