World Of Hempy

Just a few pics from my WW Hempy harvest.
Perlite in 2 gallon bucket.
Harvested her mother and two Ice plants on 4/20/14, got up this morning at 4:20 and did a bowl pulled plant from cabinet and went back to bed, LOL. When the sun came up I started cutting and trimming. Not a large plant but I expect 1+ zips from her. She was sort of a second thought flower, was going to keep her for a Mother but decided I did not want to try to over summer her in this heat here.
This is three before and after and one of the plant as I started my harvest, ended up with 20 of these cola.

Looks like you cut that WW down to early!! Unfortunately you missed out on her full potential, unless you had to take her early and I missed something. Peace!!
That was at day 54, I felt I could have gone longer, how many days are recommended for WW from Amsterdam Seeds. I had the belief that it was 49 to 56 days. I have two more fem seeds so will do her again, but need an estimate on time.
My grow is under the SS400 LED light.

GR I've found that the breeders mean actual flowering time so you have to factor the transition period and start your count from the day you see pistils not from the day you flip to 12/12.

Im confused. I thought the breeders count from the flip ? I always thought those were Hydro times to because it is way too short .
I agree, I start counting about 7-10 days in or when I see true budsites.. IMHO , most indica strains will go 9 weeks with sativa hybrids going longer . WW is a 10-12 week strain when budsites start to show.
look for pistils turning color or hardly any white, swollen calyx and hairs receding , the buds will feel dry to the touch and firm, but most of all while learning use a scope or lupe to to check your tricholmes and great big fat buds.

Hey WoH, I wanted to post my last harvest of Satori but my dropped my external drive, and is in the hands of a good friend trying to retrieve my data. So here's my current start, I did have a problem during veg which nearing killed them all. I induced an excess of silica. I was adding silica, and things went south. I got a report on my water composition, and it already had a high concentration in silica. I'd show you the ugly death look on the plants but the hd thing. Anyways stopped that flushed, and transplanted soil starts into 2gal mixed coco buckets and they look much better after a wk. Flipped the lights yesterday

Back row left Satori pheno 1 clone (took 68days to finish) right Lemon Kush from seed
Front row left & right Satori pheno 2 clones (took 58days to finish) Center Acapulco Gold clone said to be epic.

Note that the Satori pheno 2 plants are laying out flat, that is a by-product of the excessive silica, the main stocks almost completely failed.

Veg box the hope of the next gen and the outdoors grow. Clones of the AG and LK 4 seed starts of last summers cross of Pineapple Express Auto and the Hawaiian 90 day Wonder for the deck, 2 seed start C-99 for next indoor, and the Maroc Purple for Outdoors which hasn't taken well to topping.

Using my 30x lupe I had about 60% cloudy and started seeing amber in about 20%. I wanted to wait longer but with the trichomes turning I was worried I was waiting too long. I did start my day count at flip. I think it may have been that I had the UV lamps on the SS400 own from the start of 12/12, as it was put in the cabinet with the Ice plants and the WW mom of this clone.
Thanks for the input guys.

The breeders may count from the flip, but I've found as both hempy and dwc grower that the breeders count lines up with actual flowering. I am still getting this part of the process dialed in, but this weekend I chopped Berry Bomb which said 49 days. I chopped on day 60 and I still think I was too early.

I pulled WW on day 63 and was pleased with the results.

Haven't posted in awhile. Here are some shots of three different phenos of JOTIs Godbud. Found one keeper pheno that turns purple near the end, only needing slightly cooler temps. Most are 2Ls with three in dollar store bathroom garbage bins, approx 5L Peace!!
Sorry, other pix didn't turn out very well, will take some when I get back to that location.

DAMN! TWS totally killing it this grow vs last grow! Also, hot Indian chicks with big tits, fuck yeah.

Liking Shaggn's style too, like the shipping crates for the 2L, nice idea.

So I've been meaning to snap some pictures of the Kosher Tangie that I have flowering right now. This is my first mainline attempt (topped to 8 mains) and so far I am pleased. Next time I will use a taller tomato cage, but I very please with this 2 gal Hempy (coco/perlite)

I pulled her out of my closet to snap the pictures. Tough to tell from these pictures, but 6 of the 8 mains are about the same exact size and bud formation is exactly the same. The other 2 have the same bud formation but are not as tall as the others.

Forgot to mention that these are as of Day 33 of 12/12.

Feeding H&G Nutes (Aquaflakes A&B, Drip Clean, Bud XL) This week only with Top Booster and I hit her with Bloombastic from here on out.

This greedy bitch is drinking about a gallon every other day....sometimes I make her wait 2. Currently feeding at around 750 PPM....

Yea, she takes off pretty fast after the flip. I took two clones, gave one away and the other just got flipped. I am doing a little Pepsi challenge: The one pictured is in a 2 gal hempy bucket. It has been mainlined to 8 tops. The clone is in a 3.5 gal dwc bucket with no training other than some supercropping to control the height.

What I hope to learn: Will the growth difference in DWC bucket with a larger res enough to mitigate minimal training compared to a hempy with a smaller res that has been trained to evenly distribute the plant's energy in a small indoor flowering environment? Which method will use the most nutes?

I have a third girl in this equation, though not the same strain and she is being mainlined in DWC, and I am going to compare her to her mother who flowered with no training (Somango Widow). It looks to me like the mainlined plants are going to win the challenges across the board if I had to guess.

Is your KT in a hempy bucket?

Cool man, good luck. Mine is in a 5 gal DWC. Here's a pic of her in my screen, but she's growing along side a blue rhino. The blue rhino is on the left and kosher tangie on the right. I topped her once, and then just let her go into the screen. I've got lots of pics following every step from seed in my thread entitled "Kosher Tangie & Blue Rhino" if you feel like taking a look. Looking at your pics, I think that we have very similar phenos. Best of luck, great plant!
