With Democrats like these who needs Republicans?

Only 124,000 people in Colorado voted in the Democratic party primary. In 2014, there were 1,154,000 people registered as Democrat. What's with the small percentage of people voting? 72,000 people voted for Sanders. So much for your fantasy of some pool of voters who are thirsting for Bernie. About a million people were so energized about Sanders that they didn't even bother to vote at all.

What's up with your state?
It's typical of America. You'd know that if you did any homework.

Since most people don't vote, it's no surprise that our country is run by those who do.

Yep, with Democrats like these, who needs Republicans?

Y'all have no one but yourselves to blame for the Trainwreck that was America.

Thanks for playing.
You are beyond stupid. Almost to the point of being spiteful for the sake of being spiteful. You are so poorly informed, I almost feel bad for you.

Oregon - smaller population and larger turnout than Colorado in the primary and about equal turnout in the general. Vote by mail doesn't require expensive and hackable voting machines with the benefit of a paper trail for checking for fraud. Your go-to habit of blaming the system or simply blaming Democrats stunts your ability to consider alternatives.

Vote by mail system the way it's done in Oregon, rocks. A bill was entered from one of Oregon's reps in Washington to encourage other states to change over. As with Bernie's healthcare bill it went nowhere. As long as Republicans are in charge, both of these bills are just symbolic. Of course, Earl Blumenauer's bill was more than just a hollow promise.

They have vote by mail here, too.

I do wish we had Oregon's voting laws here.

The Republicans fucking hate them, because they actually let the People have their say!

Republican leaders do, apparently. A very large proportion of Republican voters like vote by mail too.

You say it's typical of America but there is an extraordinary difference between CO and OR in the proportion of people who voted in the primary. Why do fewer vote in Colorado then? Especially in primaries.

Maybe because it's not as easy to register, vote and join parties here as it is in Oregon.

Don't ask me to defend the choices of other people just because I happen to live in the same state.

I might ask you why Oregon is one of only 2 States that require a gas station attendant to pump your gas?

Ah yes, pumping gas. Spandy hated it and claimed people were always spilling gas on his truck. Too funny that. I can only imagine how shitty he treated people to get that treatment.

We changed that law beginning this year so that in rural communities with small populations station can be self serve and people are freaking out. Some are, at least, and it's become a national joke.

A lot of people like sitting in their car and letting somebody pump the gas. It's also touted as a jobs-saving measure. The cost of fuel isn't noticeably affected. It provides jobs for college students and people who need the money. So, overall not such a bad thing. It does take time to get used to it if you are used to pumping your own gas.

Rather than crab about the system, maybe you should start opening your mind about alternatives rather stick to your close minded cynical belief. I know you won't but just saying, your kneejerk reaction about the system keeping people down so they don't vote was an unhelpful logical dead end. Also not true.

Yeah, I heard about it on NPR.

You trying to lecture me- or anyone, for that matter- about being cynical and close minded, now that's funny, Mr 'I won't watch your YouTube video'!

BWAHAHAHAHA!

Idiots everywhere!

No, really. Cynicism is a dead end belief system and clearly damaging you. You should be more open minded. For example the way you just ended your discussion regarding Colorado's abysmal voter turnout by saying it was due to "the system". Oregon has a much higher voter turnout but similar demographics. This is a teaching tool for you to look for opportunity instead of assigning blame.

How would you know what my opinions are? You don't take the time to listen.

Enjoy your echo chamber.

What opinions? You just complain about everything. Is that what you're trying to pass as a thoughtful opinion, your complaints?
I'm not surprised you've missed them, preoccupied as you are with shit posting.
