i think you're right about the brown kid maybe feeling a bit "empowered", being a bit high and coming from the (unfortunate) thrill of a robbery. maybe he got in over his head in the confrontation with the officer. and maybe he followed one bad decision with another. maybe he allowed his marijuana-fueled emotions to drive him to do something he wouldn't normally do?
i don't know. i just can't imagine this officer just one day deciding this was the day to kill a poor black kid if at all possible, like the brown family and followers would have us believe.
